There’s only one female singer in Las Vegas who can give audiences an eclectic mix of concert experiences in one show. In her first stage residency, singer/comedian/entertainer Véronic DiCaire pays homage to the most popular female recording artists of all time in Véronic VOICES, co-produced by Celine Dion. Combining impersonating and impressionist talents with her genuinely out-of-this-world vocal talent, Véronic is a one-woman phenomenon at the Jubilee! Theatre.
VÉRONIC VOICES LAUNCHES LOCAL FUNDRAISING CAMPAIGN, “LEND YOUR VOICE”
Vocal impressionist Véronic DiCaire launches “Lend Your Voice,” a monthly awareness-building and fundraising effort for selected local nonprofits. Each month, Véronic will partner with a worthy cause and encourage audience donations by providing information on each of their missions during her performances at the Jubilee Theater.
“I came up with the idea for ‘Lend Your Voice’ while I was touring in Canada,” said Véronic. “I’ve been excited to return to Las Vegas and thought: how can I use my voice to benefit so many of the wonderful organizations that support our community? In the show, I give audiences my impressions of female vocalists, so this is my chance to use my own voice to raise awareness for some really phenomenal organizations.”
Her jaw-dropping voice covers Adele, Mariah Carey, Dolly Parton and Whitney Houston and her high-energy dance repertoire includes hits by Madonna, Britney Spears, Lady Gaga, Rihanna, Pink and Carrie Underwood. Véronic’s smooth, silky voice and comic relief make for an unforgettable night of entertainment designed for the whole family.
RISE TO FAME
The multi-talented diva performed leading roles in musicals such as “Grease” and "Chicago” back in her native Canada before releasing her self-titled French language album. This 2002 debut album proceeded to garner numerous industry nominations and awards. The Las Vegas entertainer has also appeared at two prestigious comedy festivals: Just For Laughs Festival in Montreal and the Grand Rire Festival in Quebec.
HELP FROM AN ICON
Véronic got a huge break when megastar Celine Dion—also a native French Canadian—invited her to open her show during the Taking Chances Tour. In 2008, Véronic opened 11 shows at Montreal's Bell Centre to 22,000 people each night, getting multiple standing ovations and rave reviews. Véronic toured Quebec and Ontario, performed many European shows and served as a judge on “X-Factor France.” In addition to selling out the prestigious Theatre Olympia in Paris 12 times, Véronic played to nightly audiences of 5,000 plus in both the The Arena in Geneva and the Forest National in Brussels.
