We stayed here for a conference in 2009 and found the hotel and grounds to be exceptionally clean. Hence, we looked forward to staying here again in 2021. Sadly, this hotel and casino isn’t what it was 12 years ago. The hallways and elevators looked liked they hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. If you’re looking for safe accommodations in a convenient location of the Las Vegas Strip, Bally’s is a great location. If you’re looking foe great value for your money and dust/debris in the hallways doesn’t bother you (see photo) then it’s ok to stay here. If you’re looking for 5-star hospitality and cleanliness, look elsewhere. Mirrors in the elevator had lots of smudges. In the past it was common to see employees walking around at all hours cleaning the hotel & casino...not anymore! One night there was what appeared to be urine in the elevator. I called to notify the front desk and it was a 5-10 minute process to connect with a human being to explain the issue. Again, I’m happy to have stayed for such a great price, but in the future I will opt to it more and stay at another hotel/casino operated by Caesar’s Entertainment. It appears as if Bally’s is now owned/operated by Caesar’s which has many brands within it (Harrah’s, Bally’s, Caesar’s Place, Rio, Flamingo, and a few others). It seems as if these hotels are “stratified” to different price points to attract a wide diverse group of guests, which is great. However, in the future I will opt to pay more to stay at accommodations where there is more attention given to detail. Oh, and upon checking in there were one or two employees directing guests to check in using a computer. In the past there were between 10-20 agents available to personally provide service. Perhaps with rising costs it is now more cost productive for the hotel to replace an agent with a computer, which is sad. Automation is great but it doesn’t compre to professional and friendly customer service from a person.
