Bally's is a good hotel, that is rated as a 4 star hotel. It has a very convenient location, in the middle of the strip. The hotel implemented a new concierge service which was very prompt, helpful and very easy to use. However, the hotel, even though advertised as newly renovated lacks the feeling of new. While workers were always making sure the doors are clean, it does portray a feeling of "used". A lot of people are traveling this facility and it definitely shows it's course. Tiles on the floor over used, elevators not new, slot machines that have been in the business for a lot time, and lots and lots of smoking. From cigarettes, to cigars and weed, there is a constant smell, that even if you are on a non-smoking floor is still present. The restaurants are great, with great food, but high prices (similar with the entire city).Overall, it was an interesting experience visiting Las Vegas, with a great location, but a hotel that is only 3 stars.

Not impressed so far. We just checked in this afternoon. Parking is SO far away. Completely inconvenient. We had to wait online to use a kiosk to check in. Went through all the screens, until it wouldn’t give me the keys because (I found out later) my card didn’t go through. Instead of asking for a new card, the screen just went back to “welcome”. A employee checked her computer to see what the issue was, but couldn’t get through. So I was told to wait in an even longer line for a customer service rep. Half of the people who used the kiosk were directed to this line as well after trying the kiosk. Clearly that’s a problem. Finally got to the room, and it was hot after all the walking from the parking garage and hauling luggage around the lobby. The a/c will not go lower than 68 degrees. Maybe for some people that’s enough, but when it’s 100+ degrees outside, it needs to go down lower. One of the fridges had someone’s old food in it. Gross. But at least there were 2 fridges. The bathroom supplies are ridiculous. We are here for 6 nights. There are literally: 2 bath towels, 1 wash cloth, and THAT’S IT. Not even a hand towel or a bathmat, which seems to be Bally’s way of begging for a lawsuit; inevitably someone (or many) will slip on the marble and crack their head open. I literally used the one washcloth to carefully inch my way across the marble. So not even 10 hours here, and I’m pretty disappointed. Celebrating my husband’s 50th birthday, so I’m trying to keep a happy face for him. 😕

We travel to Vegas quite often, and one of our goals is to stay at every hotel on the strip. This was our our first stay at Bally's. Got a great deal on hotels.com, so we thought we'd try it. PROS: - centrally located on the strip- parking was free and fairly easy- pillows and beds were decent- mini fridge in the room- room was big enough for a wheelchair- checking in with the kiosk was quick and made the long lines move faster- shampoo and body lotion provided, but no conditioner- housekeeping provided us with extra towels once it was requested- connected to the Paris Hotel- Enterprise car rental is only a 5 minute walk to the Westin Hotel- air conditioner/fan drowned out hallway noise- shower and toilet were separate from makeup vanity, so it was faster to get ready for the day- checkout was quick and bill was accurateCONS: - there was lingering cigarette smoke in our room (the hallways smelled better than our room)- no bath mat provided- not enough towels for our stay (had to frequently ask for more)- although it says the hotel has been recently renovated, our room was still outdated; I'm not sure if we were placed in an area where it hasn't been remodeled yet- stains on walls and curtains- parts of the wallpaper were peeling- light switches felt sticky to the touch--maybe due to the Covid cleaning sprays that were used?- elevator floors need to be cleaned--extremely sticky in most of themBottom Line: The hotel wasn't poor, but it wasn't average either. If you're looking for an inexpensive place to lay your head and don't care about the frills, then this might be the place for you. I, personally, would not stay here again, but I'm glad I gave it a chance.
