First off let me say the location is fantastic. Everything from there on was average at best. The hotel itself, even after the return fills a bit dated. There has been no real effort to resemble a premium resort but more just to keep it up enough to justify resort fees. The pool needs a good deal of work and the rooms (we had suites) have beat up furniture and dated carpets. The bathroom upgrades were quite nice. The best part of the hotel is being able to easily use Paris as your home resort.

We stayed on the 23rd floor at Bally’s. Our room overlooked Flamingo Blvd and was very, very noisy. The room was fine with the exception that they don’t provide daily cleaning or towel replacement. When we asked housekeeping for towels they were very rude and said they could not give us anything from their cart. We finally received new towels on our last day. Our trash was overflowing by the time we left. Another problem was the smell of weed in our room. Someone around us smoked all the time and our room also smelled of it. We did go to the pool and it was ok. If you are looking for a great pool in Vegas there are others much better. Our drinks were $29 each so we had a hefty bill. One of the large escalators was broken 3 of the 4 days we were here. The hotel was overall clean and comfortable, but a few things could be better.

Have stayed at Bally's Las Vegas numerous times, and have a 1500 sq.ft suite reserved later in the year. Our last stay, for 3 nights was awful but not because of covid. We were treated rudely and disrespectfully by one of their people at check in. I cancelled a suite at Delano {MGM} to stay at Bally's {Caesars}. I regret it now. Stayed in the Resort Studio Suite on 9th floor. It's a slightly bigger room than the Resort room and includes 2 refrigerators and a wet bar. Has 1 TV, a safe, no microwave or bath tub. It has enough floor space for a couple of air mattresses if you have kids or other people staying. This room is the the second to the last room at the end of the hallway but still not quiet enough. Our room was not cleaned properly, had finger and hand prints on the window. Also the hallway had a strong odor of pot. Only good thing about this stay was housekeeping brought us some extra towels pretty fast. If you are concerned about the corona virus don't stay here. I observed their security people not enforcing the facial covering rules. So who would I recommend? Not Bally's. I have the same players card level with MGM so I can go back to them with no problem. It's all about the service you receive and Bally's is lacking.

I was ready to leave after about three hours. Things started off poorly trying to find the entrance to the parking garage. I pulled into a hotel entrance. I thought it was for valet but no one was around. I went inside and asked how to access the parking garage. I received a misinformed answer. When we made it to the garage, ticket machines were still deployed despite what was supposed to be free parking. We didn't take a ticket but when we parked, signs say take your ticket with you. I tried to return to the ticket machine but couldn't find it, so I said screw it. We'll figure it out later. The parking was free and no ticket required, but they failed to cover machines and signs. Same when when we got to check in. Kiosks are the only check in method. Who knew? The kiosks are not intuitive and no one to help you until you break some cardinal rule. For that, they are more than willing to help you correct your error. I'm still burning, slap up so not going into details. By the time we finally made it to our room, I was fit to be tied with all it took to get there. Our room was fine but the frig was off. I had to move a heavy credenza like thing to access the back of the frig to turn it on. BTW, there is no housekeeping. The hotel does tell you about their mask policy on their web site, but no mention of the other things. Dining choices are slim and the prices have gone up. When I go to Vegas, I expect to lose. I play slots. I go with a preset of entertainment money. The casino was not interested in my entertainment. The machines were just plain vicious. I don't bet crazy like $4 a spin, but I was down $150 in 30 minutes of play. They took and never gave. My wife, a glutton, stayed with it. Not sure what she lost but I know it was more than $150. I was done. Was not going to play if they wanted to be that way about it. My wife and I stayed mostly in our room the following day but should have just gone home. We did the next day, a day early. Worst experience ever. It will be a good while before we return.
