I moved to Bally's [Caesar's] from an mLife property to finish out my LV vacation. Note: My rooms were comp'd at both properties, but there were differences in the 2. Wish I would have stayed where I was at originally.First off, checking in. mLife property I was able to check-in at lunchtime [3-4 hours early] FOR FREE. No questions asked, no grief given. Tried checking-in on the Caesar's app for Bally's 3-4hrs early and it wanted to charge me $15. No thanks. Showed up to Bally's about 1hr before check-in...they had the lobby set up so they were basically FORCING you to go to the kiosks, and the KIOSKs FORCE you to pay $15 if you want to check-in any time before 4pm. NO THANK YOU. I decided to move over to the regular check-in line. Once in the regular check-in line a woman came over asking everyone, "Did you try to check-in on the kiosks? This line is only for people with issues." I just stayed in line, I wasn't giving them another dime for something so silly. I was able to check-in early FOR FREE using the regular check-in line. At check-in I was informed I would have to pay the resort fee for each night I was staying. I had already known this from when I booked the room, so that was ok. However, I will say...your competitor does not charge a resort fee on comp'd rooms unless it is a luxury type of property (ie: Bellagio). Bally's is not luxury.Parking is FREE [or maybe it's included in the "resort fee"] but is a massive hike - located between Bally's and Paris. You have to walk thru a mall portion of the building and are often approached by the salespeople in the stores trying to give you samples. Really annoying. I wonder how many people don't realize how to go about the FREE parking, and end up paying $15/day in fees they don't have to! **FREE PARKING** It's not immediately obvious, and my guess is they do this on purpose to make more $$. If you are staying at Bally's or Paris - keep your key cards; don't turn them in. Bypass the pay kiosks and go directly to your vehicle. When you reach the exit gate you scan your keycard, the gate opens & your drop your keycards in the keycard box. DO NOT GO TO THE KIOSKS TO TRY TO VALIDATE YOUR PARKING TICKET BY SCANNING YOUR KEYCARD. There is an option on the kiosk for this, but it will error out everytime. I saved quite a few people $15+ in parking once I passed this information on to others that were making the same mistake as me. Internet...is included in the resort-fee. Cool, no issues there. However, it's only valid for the first 2 devices that connect from your room. Then it's $15 per each device thereafter. So, if you have 4 people in a double queen room - only 2 of you can connect to the hotel's wifi under the "covered" resort-fee. RIDICULOUS. Competitor does not have a limit to how many devices can be connected to the internet. Also, the pool shut down at 5pm daily. Not sure if that's a COVID thing or how things have always been run in LV. The room I stayed in was a Resort Tower room and it faced Flamingo Rd. HOPE YOU AREN'T TRYING TO GET ANY SLEEP. 24/7. All day. All night. You could hear cars, motorcycles, horns whatever else and it was LOUD. I don't know if they had any soundproofing whatsoever in the room. Avoid any rooms facing Flamingo Rd at all costs. The room itself was alright and actually had a fridge - yay! Beds were relatively comfortable, if you can fall asleep with all the background noise. Beds each only had 3 pillows...which I find odd. Most have 4 pillows per bed...2 per person in each bed. Just a weird observation. Water pressure for showering was good. The faucet at the sink was a little stuck and hard to use. The toilet flushed very violently...loud and fast, almost a bang type noise.Would probably not stay here again. The location was good, certainly. The location of the room was bad - very loud and noisy, no soundproofing. The $15 charge to check-in early, the $15 charge for any device after first 2 with the "resort fee" wifi, hours for the pool seemed short [not sure if COVID thing, LV thing, or what], how it wasn't clear how to go about how to get the free parking for lodgers.
