We came in late on a Tuesday and the self serve kiosks were useless for our check-in. Apparently they were out of the room we had been promised so they upgraded us to room 1934 - end of the hall, huge room with a huge tub & shower taking up about half the room. Nice large open room. The window door says it only opens an inch but it really just stays cracked open a fraction of the inch. Heavy drapes kept the sun at bay but we were up by 8a anyway. The TV is weird to figure out but we weren't in the room much. Bally's is a great location adjoining Paris, has a BART stop and easy access to hop a bus down to the Circus and Freemont Street. Checked out 3 diff dispensaries, prices were varied, we found the best deals were out at NuWu, but Planet 13 and Pisos(?) were helpful and closer to the strip. If you go to Planet 13, take the free shuttle ~ why pay for a cab?Our group did some walking, Lyft, Bus, Cab & Super Shuttle, all were fast and friendly ~ the most confusion seemed to be with where to pick up folks for Lyft. Cabs were crazy pricey ~ you are charge by both the time & the mile! We'll be back, we'll probably go thru vegas.com again and we'll probably stay with the Super Shuttle folks - we barely missed our shuttle back to airport but they still got us there on time with no issues - Thanks Super Shuttle!
Thank you Bally's

It was fun. Beautiful spacious rooms. Disappointed there was no coffee in rooms. Refrigerator but no microwave. Bathrooms were nice and it looks like the rooms were recently renovated. Drinks at the bar were expensive. $17.50 for a small coffee with baileys. The next night it was $12.00. Wonder if the bartender pocketed the difference hmmm We enjoyed our stay. Would definetley stay again.

Before I go into it, I will be the first to admit that I had made mistakes, so I cannot put the entire blame on this Hotel, but you be the judge. I booked this hotel through a 3rd party site a month and a half (or so) in advance. Fast forward to the week of my trip. A recent snow storm caused a cancellation of our flight at the time we were due to board the plane. I had lost my wallet leaving the airport and was in a panic about my i.d. and my credit/debit cards. I called spirit and they had re-booked me to a later flight so I can get my cards and identification squared away the next day. Well....the snow also kept all my banking institutions, and the DMV closed. I called tsa and asked if I could use an alternate identification, and they explained to me that I could still catch my plane with additional screening, an expired license, and a birth certificate. I then recieved a call from my buddy who boarded an earlier flight and told me that I needed an i.d. and my credit cards to check in to the hotel. I immediately called the concierge to see what my options were, and was told that I could not check in without those items. When i asked him my options all he said was to call the 3rd party with whom i booked and cancel my trip (reservation was non transferrable, even when i offered to use a buddies i.d. and credit card). After mulling over my non options I reluctantly called expedia and cancelled my trip (no trip insurance) I was offered a voucher for my flight, (second flight was also cancelled). But Bally's denied any reimbursement at all (3 days total). I expected to lose some money for my mistakes, but I was completely surprised that they were still going to charge me for the 2 remaining days on my reservation. Even after telling me their was zero way to use my reservation (no transfer, no alternate i.d. no alternate credit card). I guess I thought if the room was unused, and I cancelled before it was used, I could at least save some coin. But...it is vegas... same old greedy vegas... bottom line...Ethics has no place in this business...they will happily take your money for the slightest mishap....Vegas is flailing anyway in my personal opinion... I was going to Vegas to hike red rock and eat good food...not to gamble...

The staff was accommodating and helpful when we needed something extra. I wished they would have had coffee pots in the room. Having a refrigerator was helpful though.
