I stayed here while attending a conference. When I booked the hotel, I did get the daily rate, but not a total with all other charges that ended up eventually included (tax, resort fee). Resort fee? This is not a resort of any kind. The resort fee of over $30 is really a charge for internet and fitness room (which I did not use). I was attending the conference on official business as a federal employee and I got from work a form stating that I am exempt of all taxes at the hotel. The hotel make me pay the taxes anyway because I did not pay with a certain credit card they required. The staff did not seem to try much to be helpful. In conclusion, BE READY TO PAY MUCH MORE than what you expect when you make the reservation.About the room: large, quiet, with comfortable bed. The decor looks dated. There was NO COFFEE MAKER in the room, so I bought one for $16 at Walgreens for the week I stayed there. Less expensive and more convenient then having room service coffee every morning. Location of the hotel is good, close to the Strip, but getting into and out of the hotel is inconvenient, having to go up and down the stairs. I do not think I will stay here next time when in Vegas.
