After travelling to Vegas many times, decided to give AC a shot. Stayed at Ceasar's Atlantic. First off, AC is no Vegas. We stayed Sun to Thursday and there were no shows, barring one comedy show that was playing somewhere, but we didn't go due to the bad reviews. One thing I really missed was the fact that none of the casinos had a live band.We stayed at the Centurion tower; the room was excellent! Ceasar's has a Noodle restaurant at the lower casino level - take it from me, the food was amazing! We ate there twice. Though I'm a smoker, I recognize the rights of non-smokers. To that end, Caesar's (and other AC casinos) have separate smoking areas so non-smokers can have a comfortable time. From my estimation, around 65-70% of Caesar's casino is non-smoking! Another amazing thing about Ceasar's (and a few other casinos) is that you can order your drink from the slot machine! And the service was very prompt. All the servers were very friendly. This is something that Vegas needs to do; but I'm sure they won't. That's because quick drink service helps the customers and the servers (tips) and as long as no other casino (in Vegas) offers this service, they will not care how long it takes players to get a drink.AC is pretty dead, many businesses are closing/have closed down. The city is surviving only because of the casinos. All in all, a decent trip, primarily because we saved money by driving down there from TO.
