We booked a Tribune suite with two double beds months in advance of our stay. Upon arrival, we were told that there were no Tribune suites with double beds available. The front desk agent was very argumentative and kept telling us to read the fine print in our reservations that the room type is not guaranteed. She tried to put us in a standard double room despite paying twice as much for the Tribune suite. After much back and forth with the agent, she agreed to put us in a Tribune suite with a king bed and a free cot. The room was not clean yet so we were told to come back in a half hour. A half hour later, another front desk agent informs us that they cannot offer a cot for free. This agent then disappears into the back for ten minutes to discuss with the manager. Eventually the manager agrees that the cot can be provided for free. How gracious of them to offer two beds in a room that should have had two beds to begin with. Other customers were in shouting matches with the front desk agents, so this wasn’t an isolated incident.Later in the stay we tried calling Ramsey’s for takeout but the phone system simply hangs up on you.TV had limited channels and no streaming apps that are offered by competition.Slot machines seemed to have been programmed to pay out less than usual. We expected an experience in line with other Caesar’s properties and we were provided with an experience that even a shady motel would be ashamed of.
