While it is understandable that in-door dining has just begun, the food selection in the Laurel Lounge [aka Diamond Lounge] is desparately in need of improvement. It almost seems as if the new [or current] management has decided to take advantage of events to severely reduce the quality of food offered & hours of operation. Other A.C. Casinos [non Caesars] appear to be far better.

Caesars AC used to be my favorite place to stay, play and dine in Atlantic City. But that all changed after my visit here 2 days ago. The #1 issue is the ghetto trash guests this place is getting. It used to be such a small percentage that it didn't infringe on the overall experience, but now it's overwhelming. We checked in on a Sunday afternoon and did not get the corner room without a connecting door that I always request and never have a problem getting. Left all our stuff in the room and went down to the casino to play. Ripped through $2000 in 4 hours with little or no return. Came back up to the room to change for dinner. We heard some loud talking in the next room but thought maybe it would die down. Went to Gordon Ramsey for dinner, which turned out to be the only good thing about the trip. Came back up to the room to relax and have a good night's sleep. But nope! Trashy people in the room next door, as well as in two rooms across the hall, screaming, yelling, cursing, banging on walls and playing music so loud the entire floor could hear it. I called the front desk, they said someone would be up, but no one ever came or they just didn't give a s***. Got all our stuff together and left very late that night to make a two hour drive back home. Never coming back here.

I recently stayed 4 nights at Caesars. When I checked in around 5pm, I was told they didn't have the 2 queen room in Centurion Tower I had reserved available yet, but did have the same room with a King, which I took. I had room 3333, which had an amazing ocean view, as from bed all you see is the waves! The room was pretty clean and didn't smell despite being a smoking room. I asked Alexander about any suites being available, but the price for the senator suite for one night was more than my entire 4 night (comped) stay (which still includes resort fees)! He was otherwise nice, friendly, and seemed to like his job! When you arrive, there is a security guard who will most of the time ask you to look at a list of symptoms, to see if you will be honest and say you have any of them, but there is NO temperature checking at all! I didn't really like that and most people laughed off the list and didn't seem to answer seriously. People were mostly good about wearing masks, and a guard even told me to wear mine between sips, when I was drinking at a slot. I did see some noses out though at times but most were good. The hotel elevators were tough, with people cutting, and not respecting the 4 person max. I really enjoyed my room, it was roomy, fridge worked well, it was clean, comfortable bed, and spacious bathroom. Everything worked and the furniture was in pretty good condition. I had no issues during my stay and neighbors were generally quiet. I did notice rooms being turned over daily with new guests so they do not keep a room empty for a day between guests. I ate at Ramsay's 3x during my visit and food is great but a bit pricey. I also wanted to try KWI noodle bar but it was closed when hours on Caesars website indicated it would be open! I even did okay on the slots, while I did lose a few nights, considering how long I played, I didn't lose much, and did well overall at both Caesars and connecting Bally's compared to other Casinos (did have a good pop at Hard Rock for first time too!). I can't wait to go back and love staying at Caesars when staying on boardwalk. Also went to beach for the first time during a visit to AC and from Centurion tower, you go down into wild west, and right onto beach after crossing boardwalk! Check out was pretty quick as well! Great stay overall and can't wait to return next year! I didn't play tables that much, as they were more expensive than before, and they don't seem to be using that many of their tables, way fewer than past visits, while Casino's like Ocean and Borgata had dozens of tables open!

We checked in at 1:30 no mention was ever given to paying an early check in fee. When we checked out of the 3 rooms that we booked we were charged an extra $11.38. We went to the front desk and inquired about the fee. We were told it was an early check-in fee. At no time were we ever told that we would be charged the extra money. Caesars is putting this on the bill in hopes that we would never realize that it was on the bill. We asked the supervisor to remove the charges from the bill and we were told that we checked in early and would have to pay it. We would have waited. Not good Caesars.

For this review, I would like to first begin by telling my story before concluding my judgement. My fiancé and I happen to share the same birthday and as such and especially due to the covid-19 there were only so many options; so Atlantic City, NJ it was. I did some bit of research and looking at the reviews I settled for Cesar's Palace. I was hoping to really have a great and special experience and thus got some few family members to join in and I paid the below price for two days:1 Room King Size bed (Non-Smoking) - 2 nights $692.12 Taxes $104.84 = $796.96 (Room 2618)Deluxe Room 2 Double Beds - 2 Nights $413.12 Taxes $66.82 = $479.94 (Room 4306)Total 2 rooms 2 Nights = $1,276.90So, I get to Cesar's Palace and my fiancé and I have the room 2618, we check in and head to our room. The whole floor was smelling nasty and the room was filled with smoke smell - it was so horrendous to the extent that we could not even stand being there. To confirm that we were not being overly sensitive, we decided to go and check the other room occupied by our family. Upon getting there, the floor was very clean and the room had no hint of any smoking smell. Based on that comparison, we immediately decided that me and my fiancé would not be sleeping in the room they gave us (please note it was also the most expensive room)Heading to the front desk, we explained our situation and they determined that they would NOT switch our room - we tried our best to even talk to the manager to no avail. So, as a whole family we decided we were not going to stay there and we returned the keys and notified the manager we were leaving. Please note, we had driven for over 4hrs to get to Atlantic City and by the time we made this decision it was 11:30pm at night. I was lucky enough to get some rooms at the Sheraton (which is non-smoking) for the first night ($350.00 for 2 rooms) and the 2nd night we switched over to Ocean Casino Resort ($884.00 for 2 rooms) and so incurred a total of $1,234.00.After the mini-vacation, I tried to get my money back from Cesar's palace but it seems that the whole institutions is made up of liars. I have been told that I did stay there for the 2 nights and I did check out and thus no refund - on top of it all I did get an additional $54 dollar charge on each of the rooms the second day. I have receipts showing that I paid for the other hotels but this does not seem to matter. Apparently, my family was in two places at the same time. Its very disappointing when one realizes that you are dealing with an untrustworthy institution which is greedy and will do anything to steal from the American citizens - it's a damning shame. In conclusion, just avoid this place. The management is not honest, the rooms are horrendous and thus its not worth your money. They may have stolen my money but I am glad that they never stole my fiancés and I special day - it was a blessing in disguise to have not slept there because at this point am somewhat sure it was going to be the worst experience ever. Sheraton came through by having a last minute booking with rooms which were better than Cesar's Palace and of course Ocean Casino Resort provided that special experience that my family was looking for - the views are to die for.The end.
