Check in isn't until late afternoon but for a fee of $30 plus tax you can be put on a waiting list to check in early. That's where the nickel and diming starts. Any way Caesars can make a buck they've figured it out. I'm already paying an overpriced fee for the hotel, then you add on the resort fee, parking fee and now the early check in fee. WOW, Jesse James use to take it with a gun, this place just takes it. You drop your bags off with the bell desk but you pick them up outside at a different luggage pick up. They don't tell you that when you drop off your bags so MANY MANY people complaining about that after they've waiting in line at the desk they dropped luggage off at. Communication seems to be lost here. I was one of the unfortunate people who didn't know this so it was a wait in line INSIDE and then another wait in line OUTSIDE. Inside mini bars are always expensive but this place is just over the top with $8 bottle of water and $ 6 can of coke. The American diner in the lobby is so overpriced with $5.95 cup of regular coffee and $9 side of bacon. I travel all the time and I have nothing but sticker shock every corner I turn at Caesars. I've stayed at so many properties over the years on the strip and there are far better places that are less expensive than this. I'll go out of my way to spend my money at other NON-Caesars properties just so I don't feel fleeced.

The hotel has nice rooms and a decent but small gym. Overall staff were friendly and helpful and we enjoyed our stay. Although the hotel is listed as non-smoking we had to bring our young child through a smokey casino to get there. I would like it if coffee was available throughout the day. Also, I was very disappointed at the quality of toilet paper. It seems like they used the cheapest stuff possible and even most casinos had better toilet paper than the hotel. The casino itself is great although I would prefer to have a foodcourt with more breakfast options. The servers are friendly and usually pretty quick with a free drink while you gamble. I was looking for more $10 blackjack tables but could only find a $15 table.

First location is great. That is the largest pro. However, not a fan of their excessive charges. Here they are: regardless if your room is ready or not, they want you to pay $40 for early check in. Also, want coffee in your room, it’s $13 a day. Also, we never got clean towels without having to call down each night. Yep, our room was never cleaned. Even after not choosing the “green” option. The location is great, but very busy. We found it more enjoyable to gamble across the street at Linq just because it was calmer. We have stayed at many hotels on the strip and this one is just ok. Drop the excessive charges and we may return. At $300+ a night, this isn’t needed. And the rooms are average. There are nicer on the strip - Wynn, MandalayBay, Cosmopolitan, etc.
