I stayed here for a work conference from Feb 15-19, 2019. Overall I had a very positive experience and would stay here again in the future. First, the service I had was excellent. 5 out of 5 stars! Tomek checked me in after I had a very long day of travel and he was so kind. He took all of my requests seriously and made me feel very welcome and that my selecting to stay there mattered. I did not catch the names of all the Housekeeping staff on my floor (60th Octavius) but they were all wonderful. They were always friendly every time I passed them, made a point to ask me if needed anything multiple times, and kept my room nice. I had interactions with 4-5 of them and they were all great. Even the staff working in the food places were wonderful. So I give 100% on service.I would give the actual physical hotel and room 3.5 out of five stars. I stayed in the Octavius tower on the 60th floor (which I actually think may have been the 14th or so floor, but they called it 60th... unsure what that was all about). There was always a line with the elevator and on my last day and a half, only 3 of the 6 elevators were working at all. The room was VERY spacious. I had a king bed and there was a nice little sitting area in the room with a large couch and chair. The bathroom was huge with a stand alone shower, two separate sinks, private toilet, and a large Jacuzzi style bathtub. It was clean, but very well lived in. Lots of big and deep scuff marks on the dresser, nightstands, and all the woodwork in the bathroom. I mean big enough that it was immediately noticeable. There were a fair amount of stains on the carpet floor. Also, I wish that they had a cover on the peep hole of the door. The toilet was also wobbly and didn't flush well (room 6079 in case you want to send someone to look at it). The view from the room was great- the pools and the western mountains.Even though the room felt a bit lived in, I would still stay in this tower of the hotel again. Not perfect, but it worked.

it was an enjoyable weekend meeting with friends and family. We would enjoy a room with a bath and a shower and 2 sinks in each bathroom but otherwise the room was comfortable and the mattress was excellent for sleeping. The one thing we did miss was the lack of a coffee shop restaurant where we could eat and talk.
Nice but has a few issues that need addressing.

My daughter was attending a conference there so I tagged along. We arrived at 11:30, long before the check in time of 4:00. Asked the concierge if there was a place to leave our luggage. They did but he said he felt sure a room would be ready for us. Well yes there was a room, except they wanted a $40 early arrival fee. No thanks. They said they'd text us when our room was ready. So we checked our bags. Walked around the strip, had lunch. Came back around 2:00 hoping we'd get a text. No place to sit in the lobby so we sat on the floor in a hallway. At exactly 3:00 we got the text. As we got in line to get our keys we noticed a lot of other people doing the same thing. Appears that they just wait and send a global text to everyone at 3:00 who was waiting on a room. I'd have rather known that up front. If you are going to do that, just tell me.We were in the Julius tower. Pros - Very nice room. Had a view of the Flamingo across the street which was nice. Two sinks in the bathroom which was also nice. We were very close to all of the activities we wanted to do. Walked to everything except Blue Man Group which was at the Luxor. It's very centrally located. There was a nice 'food court' in the Forum that had a decent range of foods to please most people. We ate there twice because it was convenient.Cons - Open the fridge to put our water bottles inside and are surprised to see it fully stocked with booze. And I ALMOST picked one up to look at it. Didn't notice the sign in front of the snack bar that states if you move ANYTHING your room will be automatically charged. They need a sticker on the front the front of fridge stating that!! Said any movement in the snack bar would be charged as well. We looked as close as we could and didn't see any sensors in the snack bar area. And one item had been tipped over (by the maid I assume). So we had no place to store leftovers our our waters/soda's we had purchased. Would be nice to have the option of a non-stocked fridge. And I call false advertising on the free Wifi! You get ONE device per room. We had 5 devices between us with phones, Ipads, and laptops. You can of course pay for more, but I don't call that free Wifi. It's very easy to get lost in this place because it's so large. It took 2 days before we got comfortable knowing where we were. We never did see the Coliseum. I thought we'd run into it but never did.As some other posters mentioned, there is no way to get out without walking through the smokey casino. I would still stay there again if we went back due to the central location and a nice room. I'd just be prepared to go buy a cheap cooler somewhere for my drinks and not plan on ever getting on the internet.
Excellent services, respect and professionalism.

Checking in at the Diamond VIP was quick, courteous, friendly with a helpful staff. The room which I requested, Augustus Towers, was clean, spacious, very comfortable. Asian Casino Host, Mr. E. HO was very courteous, helpful, respectful and professional, as always. Being a crap shooter/player, I found the pit bosses, box men and dealers all to be courteous, friendly, helpful and professional in their jobs and appearances. The restaurants ( Buffet, food court, Chinese restaurant and Rao's) are all clean, food is great, friendly and helpful.
