While we have projects all year long that support the local environment, in April with partner with local organizations to celebrate Earth Month with such activities as participating in a Goodwill Industries clothing drive, Little River and Glengarry area clean-ups and a community tree planting on Earth Day.
Through the Clean the World program Caesars Windsor has recycled over 13,075 pounds of soap, providing over 4,000 hygiene kits to local non-profit organizations in the last four years. For more information visit cleantheworld.org
Over the years, Caesars Windsor has diverted over 4,000 pounds of household batteries from land fill by encouraging employees and customers to use on-site drop off boxes, donated up to 30,000 pounds of furniture, clothing and lighting fixtures to local organizations to be reused and recycled over 8,700 pallets, the equivalent of 460,000 pounds of wood.
Windsor’s biggest hotel is now also the greenest! Partnering with Bullfrog Power, Caesars Windsor will be the first hotel in Windsor to choose green electricity and support green energy across Canada. Bullfrog Power’s generators will deliver 100% clean, pollution-free electricity to the energy system to match the amount of power that Caesars Windsor’s digital screens use, displacing energy from polluting sources.
Additionally, our hotel guests can contribute to renewable energy and reduce the carbon footprint of their stay for $1. In partnership with Bullfrog Power, we are able to put 100% green electricity onto the system to match the amount used in a guest's room during their stay.
