Billboard-charting Collective Soul debuts at the Colosseum and Motown Legend Smokey Robinson returns in January

January's entertainment line up continues to stack up at Caesars Windsor's Colosseum with two chart-topping artists performing their biggest hits! 

The King of Motown, the legendary Smokey Robinson returns to Caesars Windsor on Thursday, January 16 at 8 pm. Cited by Bob Dylan as America's "greatest living poet", Robinson is an acclaimed singer-songwriter credited with 4,000 songs during an illustrious career spanning over four decades not only for himself but for The Miracles, Marvin Gaye and The Temptations. With 37 Top 40 hits and a multitude of Grammys including the Living Legend award, Robinson continues to thrill fans worldwide with his biggest hits including "Shop Around," "Tears of a Clown," "Tracks of My Tears" and "I Second That Emotion". Tickets start at $25 Canadian. 

Also in the new year, see American Rock band Collective Soul on Friday, January 24 at 9 pm. Hailing from Atlanta, Georgia, the band shot to international fame in 1993 with their album Hints, Allegations and Things Left Unsaid, featuring their mega #1 hit single "Shine". Their catchy melodies, guitar driven, hook-laden songs and classic rock influences continued to drive their Billboard success in the years that followed with #1 and Top 40 hits "December," "The World I Know" and "Gel" from their highest selling, triple Platinum self-titled album as well as "Perfect Day," a hit duet with Sir Elton John. See Collective Soul live and in concert, hot off their 8th studio album and in celebration of the band's 20th Anniversary! Tickets start at $20 Canadian. 

Tickets for both shows go on sale Saturday, November 9 at noon. 

Ticket purchases can be made through caesarswindsor.com, ticketmaster.ca or at the Box Office located in the main casino building on the second floor, open Wednesday to Sunday from noon to 8 pm. On concert days, the Box Office is open noon until midnight. Guests must be 19 years of age or older to attend concerts and to enter the casino and all other outlets. Prices listed do not include applicable taxes and fees.
