In an effort to assist the people of the Philippines from the devastation of Typhoon Haiyan, Caesars Windsor employees have stepped forward to make their own cash donations which the company will match up to $5,000. The funds raised will be donated to the Red Cross "Philippines Relief Fund" to help the thousands of victims and their families affected by the massive storm.
Kevin Laforet, President and CEO of Caesars Windsor, said, "As always, we are proud of our employees who consistently come forward and ask what they can do to help in our own community or in cases like this across the globe. We are more than happy to match their fundraising efforts for an overall contribution that we hope will help those in need in the Philippines."
Employees are also holding an internal bake sale fundraiser and collecting gently used and clean linens and clothing to be donated to the Filipino Community Centre who will be sending items to the affected areas in the Philippines.
