Award-winning top acts coming this spring to Caesars Windsor: Country star Trisha Yearwood and Comedian Bill Maher

Two top acts in Country music and comedy are kicking off the spring entertainment line-up at the Colosseum at Caesars Windsor.

Welcoming one of Country music's most beloved artists in 2014 - Trisha Yearwood, performs on the Colosseum stage on Friday, April 11 at 9 pm. A multiaward winning artist, Yearwood has won several Grammys, three Country Music Awards, an American Music Award and a Pollstar Concert Industry Award. A member of the Grand Ole Opry, she is one of the highest-selling female artists in Country music history! Yearwood has recorded 12 albums since her 1991 debut, featuring a hit-list of nine #1 songs and 20 Top Tens including "She's in Love with the Boy," "Walkaway Joe," and "How Do I Live." Her most recent album Heaven, Heartache and the Power of Love earned her a 2008 Grammy nomination. Hear your favourite country music artist sing her greatest hits live! Also performing this April is legendary comic and talk show host Bill Maher on the Colosseum stage on Sunday, April 27 at 8 pm. Maher is best known for his popular late night, Emmy-nominated HBO talk show “Real Time with Bill Maher”, a hilarious and thoughtful political satire of current events and news with a revolving door of guests featuring political pundits, celebrities, presidents past and present. His film Religulous” was the 7th highest grossing documentary of all time. Also an accomplished author, Maher has written best sellers “True Story,” “Does Anybody Have a Problem With That?” and “New Rules: Polite Musings from a Timid Observer.” Known for his extreme honesty and undeniable wit, there is no subject off-limits for Maher from politics, celebrities and more. Tickets start at $25 Canadian.

Tickets for both shows go on sale at noon on Saturday, December 21. Ticket purchases can be made through, or at the Box Office located in the main casino building on the second floor, open Wednesday to Sunday from noon to 8 pm. On concert days, the Box Office is open noon until midnight. Guests must be 19 years of age or older to attend concerts and to enter the casino and all other outlets. Prices listed do not include applicable taxes and fees.
