Book A Room

It was a stellar year for Caesars Windsor’s Colosseum theatre in 2013, filling thousands of seats and selling out shows with some of the biggest names in music and entertainment! As a result, the Colosseum ranked #23 in the Top 100 Theatre Venues Worldwide for Ticket Sales in Pollstar’s Annual Review, ahead of such notables as the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, The Chicago Theatre and the Fox Theatre in Detroit.

Pollstar is the only trade publication covering the worldwide concert industry supplying in-depth information to every professional concert promoter, booking agent, artist manager, facility executive and every other entity involved in the live entertainment business for 30 years.

Tim Trombley, Director of Entertainment at Caesars Windsor, takes great pride in the team effort and the headline shows that drove ticket sales and filled seats for a record number of sold-out shows this past year.

“The incredible 5 Year Anniversary concert line up and overall caliber of shows we were able to offer concert goers helped us achieve this top ranking. In 2013, some of our sold out shows included Matchbox Twenty, Willie Nelson, Alice Cooper, Weezer, Journey, Russell Peters, Hall & Oates, Styx, Ke$ha, The Band Perry, The Tenors, Donny & Marie and Kenny Rogers,” Trombley said.

There were over 60 acts that crossed the Colosseum stage in 2013 featuring a wide range of genres from classic rock, comedy, Country and contemporary. Caesars Windsor’s Colosseum opened in 2008 featuring state-of-the art light and sound and has been host to over 300 entertainment shows.

The 2014 concert line up is already shaping up to be another incredible year for music and comedy lovers with shows already booked until April including Barenaked Ladies, Melissa Etheridge, Trisha Yearwood and Bill Maher.

Trombley hints, “We have more exciting announcements coming soon! Stay tuned!”
