June welcomes music icons Blue Rodeo and John Kay & Steppenwolf to the Colosseum Stage

Windsor, ON – This summer, Caesars Windsor features a spectacular music lineup from country to legendary rock and roll.      

One of Canada’s most successful and well known contemporary bands for over three decades, Blue Rodeo will perform on the Colosseum stage for the first time at 9 pm on Saturday, June 6 at Caesars Windsor. With a distinctly Canadian sound with influences from blues, country and rock, the band has released 12 full-length studio albums and sold over three million copies, earning Platinum status plus multiple Juno and Canadian music awards. Original members Jim Cuddy, Greg Keelor and Bazil Donovan head the now seven piece band and continue to tour extensively, performing their greatest hits including “Try”, “Hasn’t Hit Me Yet,” “Diamond Mine,” “Til I am Myself Again” and more. Tickets start at $20 Canadian.

One of music’s most enduring and respected classic rock bands John Kay & Steppenwolf, with special guest, Foghat, play the Colosseum stage for the first time at 9 pm on Saturday, June 13. Emerging during the 70s when some of the biggest musical legends were born, Steppenwolf lead the pack with indelible rock anthems that continue to resonate in today’s modern pop culture including “Born to Be Wild,” “Magic Carpet Ride,” “Rock Me” and “Monster”.  Frontman, original lead singer and primary songwriter, John Kay has been the band’s driving force for five decades. Their punchy style helped to establish the fundamentals of ‘heavy metal’ and ‘hard rock’ and have reached worldwide record sales that have exceeded 25 million.

Opening for Steppenwolf is special guest Foghat, a 70s British rock band whose “boogie” blues-rock style dominated by electric guitar earned fans around the globe and gold and platinum records with hits “Slow Ride,” “I Just Want to Make Love To You,” “Third Time Lucky” and “Maybelline”.  Tickets start at $30 Canadian.  

Tickets for both shows go on sale at noon on Friday, April 3. Ticket purchases can be made through, or at the Box Office located in the main casino building on the second floor, open Friday, Saturday, Sunday and on additional show days. Non-show days from noon to 8 pm and on show days open until midnight. Guests must be 19 years of age or older to attend concerts and to enter the casino and all other outlets. Prices listed do not include applicable taxes and fees.
