For immediate release: March 31, 2015

Windsor, ON – Adding to an already spectacular summer line up, Caesars Windsor is excited to bring on two more award-winning performers.

Following a stunning acoustic performance in the Colosseum last year, award-winning Matchbox 20 front man, Rob Thomas, returns with a full band for what promises to be an electrifying performance at 9 pm on Friday, June 12. Over 17 years ago, Thomas and Matchbox 20 exploded onto the music scene with a remarkable string of #1 hits, one after another, including “Push,” “3 am,” “If You’re Gone,” “Bent,” and many more including “Smooth”, the 1999 Grammy-award winning collaboration with the legendary Santana.  Between the successes of the band, his solo work and partnerships with legendary musicians, Thomas’ tally now stands at more than 80 million albums sold worldwide.  Tickets start at $35 Canadian.

Six-time Grammy nominated R&B singer-songwriter and Windsor native Tamia performs for the first time on the Colosseum stage at 9 pm on Friday, June 19 at Caesars Windsor. Hot off her latest single “Sandwich and a Soda” from her just released sixth studio album Love Life, the Canadian born vocal powerhouse is one of the most recognizable voices in her genre. Tamia’s soulful and sultry voice has spawned hits “You Put A Move On My Heart,” “Stranger in My House,” and “Beautiful Surprise”. She has earned six Grammy nominations including Best Female R&B Vocal Performance, Best R&B Song and Best R&B Album, making her the first Canadian to be nominated in this category. Tickets start at $20 Canadian.

Tickets for both shows go on sale at noon on Saturday, April 11. Ticket purchases can be made through, or at the Box Office located in the main casino building on the second floor, open Friday, Saturday, Sunday and on additional show days. Non-show days from noon to 8 pm and on show days open until midnight. Guests must be 19 years of age or older to attend concerts and to enter the casino and all other outlets.
