Legendary Canadian Singer-Songwriter Gordon Lightfoot and Vegas Illusionist Rick Thomas perform this October

Windsor, ON – Two great shows highlighting the incredible variety of entertainment at Caesars Windsor’s Colosseum adds to October’s impressive line-up:

It’s a milestone year for the legendary singer-songwriter, Gordon Lightfoot, embarking on an international tour called 50 Years On The Carefree Highway, making a stop at the Colosseum on Saturday, October 17 at 9 pm. The tour will feature his well-known hits as well as some deep album cuts for the die-hard fans. All of which are woven together with some of Lightfoot's own behind the scenes stories and personal anecdotes about his historic 50-year musical career.

Lightfoot resides with some very exclusive company atop the list of all-time greats. His song catalog is incredibly vast and includes such chart-topping immortals as “Early Morning Rain,” “If You Could Read My Mind,” “Carefree Highway,” “Sundown” and “The Wreck Of The Edmund Fitzgerald" plus dozens more. He has recorded 20 albums, has five Grammy nominations and 17 Juno awards. Aside from his success in writing, singing and performing his own music, Lightfoot's songs have been recorded and performed by legends Bob Dylan, Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Eric Clapton, Anne Murray, Sarah McLachlan and Barbra Streisand just to name a few. Also, this October - Master Illusionist Rick Thomas, who recently performed with the Masters of Illusions at the Colosseum, is returning to Caesars Windsor for a spectacular ALL AGES solo show on Saturday, October 10 at 8 pm. Few entertainers have succeeded in Vegas like Thomas, whose show has run for 15 consecutive years, performing an incredible 600 shows annually. With slick showmanship and an unmatched stage presence, Thomas weaves magic, music and dance into a seamless spectacle. Audiences are spellbound as Thomas on performs the most intriguing and innovative grand illusions in the world with a style unlike any other magical entertainer. Tickets start at $10 Canadian.

Tickets for both shows go on sale at noon on Saturday, August 8.

Ticket purchases can be made through, or at the Box Office located in the main casino building on the second floor, open Friday, Saturday, Sunday and on additional show days. Non-show days from noon to 8 pm and on show days open until midnight. Guests must be 19 years of age or older to attend concerts and to enter the casino and all other outlets. Prices listed do not include applicable taxes and fees.
