Two Local Social Media Influencers to star in My Caesars Escape campaign in 2019: Ashley of Amherstburg and Charlie G of Lathrup Village

Windsor, ON – Starting in January, you’ll be seeing two familiar faces featured in Caesars Windsor’s ads! Last month, the resort launched the My Caesars Escape contest in search of social media influencers to collaborate with them on a unique one-month campaign that would feature the winner in select Caesars Windsor ad campaigns. Due to the top quality of the applicants received, not one, but two influencers were selected out of nearly 30: Ashley Soulliere, @ageorgio_lifestyle, of Amherstburg and known to her fans and followers as Charlie G, @iamcharlieg, of Lathrup Village, Michigan. Soulliere and Charlie G stood out amongst their competitors with their incredible sense of style, social media presence and awareness of personal brand, that they became the clear winners.

Mary Riley, Vice President of Marketing at Caesars Windsor, said, “Our original contest was designed for one overall winner that we would collaborate with to promote our award-winning amenities including our Four-Diamond hotel, restaurants, entertainment and gaming. However, both Ashley and Charlie G had such stunning, diverse profiles that aligned with the Caesars brand; we wanted to work with both of them.”

The winners of My Caesars Escape will be featured in a personalized photo shoot, highlighting their first-hand experiences at Caesars Windsor. These photos will be used in a month-long integrated campaign launching in January which includes print, digital ads and billboards in Windsor and Detroit. Soulliere and Charlie G will also receive a luxury prize of a Caesars Windsor experience package worth over $800 Cdn. which includes dining, an overnight stay and more.

My Caesars Escape takes our aspirational Caesars brand experience and makes it attainable by featuring a ‘real life’ person the public may know and can relate to,” explained Riley. The ads will feature a quote from each winner completing the phrase: “My Caesars Escape is…”

Ashley Souilliere said, “I am honoured and excited to have been selected for this campaign and to collaborate with a world-renowned, luxury brand like Caesars. Born and raised in Windsor, I feel so lucky to be part of My Caesars Escape and promoting the outstanding amenities Caesars Windsor has to offer. They bring not only jobs to our community; the all-encompassing entertainment experience they offer to Windsorites and tourists is unmatched.” With over 16,400 followers on Instagram (@ageorgio_lifestyle) and her blog, Ageorgio Lifestyle (, Soulliere has found a creative outlet to write about her Canadian roots, inspirations and fashion by chronicling her daily style, travels and life.

Charlie G, said, “I am honoured to be able to collaborate with Caesars Windsor for this campaign and showcase how there's amazing opportunities and fun waiting just across the border only minutes away from Detroit! I often hear my peers discuss how they're looking for something new and exciting to do and I just love the idea of traveling across the border to Windsor which isn't too far away, but far enough for a quick escape." Charlie G will be featured in a fall campaign later in 2019.
