Q: WHY IS CAESARS WINDSOR USING METAL DETECTORS?
A: Caesars Windsor has always strived to provide the best entertainment experience to all of our guests which include continually enhancing our security policies to reflect industry best practices and ultimately to uphold the safety and security of our guests, artists and employees.
Q: WHAT CAN I EXPECT WHEN I ARRIVE FOR A SHOW AT THE COLOSSEUM?
A: All guests attending a show will be subject to a courteous screening upon entering The Colosseum.
All bags will be searched by trained and courteous Caesars Security staff and all guests will be required to walk through a metal detector.
Q: WHAT IS YOUR BAG POLICY?
A: Oversized bags are not permitted unless medically necessary, such as diabetic supplies, etc. All bags are subject to search. Backpacks and other oversized items are to be left in your vehicle or in your hotel room.
Q: WHAT ITEMS DO I NEED TO REMOVE FROM MY POCKETS OR CLOTHING BEFORE WALKING THROUGH THE METAL DETECTORS?
A: Before walking through a metal detector, guests will be asked to remove metal items from their person which include keys, cellphones, sunglasses, money clips, etc. As you walk through the detector, security staff will also check any bag you have brought with you for prohibited items (listed under ‘Prohibited Items’ on The Colosseum Policy page).
If you are in possession of a prohibited item, you will be asked to return it to your vehicle or hotel room. Items will not be held for later pick up.
Q: DO I HAVE TO REMOVE MY SHOES AND OTHER METAL INCLUDING BELTS, JEWELRY, HAIR CLIPS, ETC?
A: Guests will NOT be asked to remove shoes, belts, small jewelry, hair clips or small amounts of loose change during the initial screening.
Q: WHAT HAPPENS IF AN ALARM SOUNDS?
A: In the event that an alarm is triggered, a secondary search will be conducted.
