KISS super fans, casual fans, and fans of rock 'n' roll in general have an opportunity to see one of pop music’s true superstars stripped down and without the makeup. KISS front man Gene Simmons has never taken his act on the road without the rest of the KISS crew, but for this mini-tour Simmons has put together a band of stellar musicians and is giving audiences a more intimate look, and listen, to the music.
Simmons and company are playing big KISS hits like “Rock and Roll All Nite” but the band is mostly focused on the lesser-played gems. The KISS Army has been clamoring for years for the band to tackle tunes like “Charisma” and “Got Love For Sale.” Now they have a chance to see Team Gene rip it up.
And while KISS normally plays arenas, this show has a much more informal feel giving attendees the up-close-and-personal treatment with the rock star. Check it out on Aug. 25 as The Gene Simmons band rocks Caesars Windsor.
