Those vocals are incomparable to any others in the world. And they should be. Il Divo, the quartet of classical crossover stars, features some of the best singers found anywhere on the globe. The foursome includes Urs Buhler, Carlos Marin, David Miller and Sebastien Izambard. They are from Sweden, Spain, The United States and France, respectively.
The group, which took shape in 2004, created a new genre of music – popera, which is, as implied, the combination of pop music and opera.
While each member has a stunning voice, when they harmonize together, it is sublime. Their takes on both pop songs like “Regresa a Mi (Unbreak My Heart)” and operatic classics like “Time to Say Goodbye (Con Te Partiro) are equally as enthralling.
In short, there is no other act like them in the world today. Check out the singular sound of Il Divo on Sept. 9 at The Colosseum at Caesars Windsor.
