I've stayed at this hotel several times this year. The first time it was absolutely excellent, a great view, lovely room etc. The next time, still very good, one little issue that was quickly resolved by housekeeping. This time, our 3rd stay this year, it was a little disappointing, but part of this might have been our fault. The previous stays were always in the Forum tower, this time we were in the Augustus tower. At check-in I mentioned that we had requested a riverview room and I hoped there'd be one available. I was a bit disappointed to open our curtains to a rooftop view and only partial view of the river, not nearly as nice as what we had during previous stays. The room just looked a bit tired. Furniture was worn and it probably would have been ok if this was our first time but the rooms during previous stays were so much nicer that this was disappointing - I'll request Tower rooms if we return, maybe that's the differene. The other small issue this time was that there were no creamer or sugars available in the morning when we reached for the coffee pot. Again, not a huge deal but when you're a morning coffee drinker, this is nice to have available in the room. Otherwise we had a nice time.
