Diversity In Careers

HUMAN RESOURCES: A DIVERSE AND INCLUSIVE CULTURE

Our team members are at the heart of PEOPLE PLANET PLAY. We embrace what makes us unique to inspire innovation and win together. We hire for diversity, compensate fairly and reward positive contribution and service. Our training programs are designed for all and our working environments are positive and open. With tens of thousands of employees across our organization, we try to create a workplace where we can collectively work, as one big team, toward one big ambition to create memorable experiences for our guests by serving them with passion.

Our strategy also includes deploying diverse by design teams to positively affect business outcomes. Caesars Entertainment is committed to achieve equity for all and ensure that inclusion remains at the top of the business agenda and a critical aspect of our culture.

A DIVERSE WORKPLACE

There are many factors that demonstrate our commitment to a diverse workplace, including gender equality. We maintain an inclusive workforce, with 60% of our employees from minority groups. In 2018, for the 11th consecutive year, we earned a perfect score from the Human Rights Campaign’s annual Corporate Equality Index. This Index scores businesses based on LGBTQ workplace policies and public engagement on equality issues.

WOMEN DO WELL AT CAESARS ENTERTAINMENT

Caesars Entertainment celebrates our unique and diverse employees and strives to enhance our diversity and inclusion programs. In 2017, we launched a gender equity initiative in partnership with the Billie Jean King Leadership Initiative. Our commitment includes the establishment of a Corporate Equity Council and three Regional Equity Councils to lead and advocate for this initiative across the company. We are well on our way to reach our goal of 50/50 gender representation in management by 2025; in 2016, we reported 44% women and 37% members of minority groups in management roles. We believe that women are good for business, and that a culture in which women (and men) can progress on merit enables us to best serve our guests and society in general. It’s also the right way to do business.

DISABILITIES AND SPECIAL NEEDS

Caesars Entertainment strives to provide a welcome place to work for all of our employees, including those employees with disabilities. We recognize the needs of persons with disabilities and have met or exceeded the requirements of compliance with the Americans With Disabilities Act (ADA) and state accessibility mandates.
