Responsible Meetings

Our Responsible Meetings

Caesars Entertainment initiated the industry‚Äôs first Responsible Meetings and Events Certification Program to help customers plan more environmentally and socially responsible meetings. Corporate social responsibility is embedded in meetings, gatherings, conventions and private events we host each year, allowing our more than two million meeting guests to meet without concern about their footprint. Caesars Entertainment developed its third iteration of the Responsible Meetings program which further embeds Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) into its certificate training which is extended to team member education programs at the individual level through a gamification platform. Responsibility is integrated into every Caesars Entertainment meeting, whether the client requests it or not. Responsible Meetings encompass a range of coordinated corporate social responsibility efforts, including:

  • Sustainable Practices (e.g. electronic menus)
  • Energy Efficient Facilities
  • Community Partnerships & Engagement Opportunities (e.g. donating unused meeting materials)
  • Environmentally Preferred Choices (e.g. reusable linens and recyclable flatware)
  • Environmentally conscious and Efficient Transportation Options
  • Certifications & Reporting
  • Responsible Gaming & Business Practices

Meetings for Good

In 2016, Caesars Entertainment released the new Meetings for Good menu of community service opportunities at select destinations. The Meetings for Good menu will promote stronger community engagement among Caesars Entertainment-operated resorts, their meeting customers and local nonprofit organizations.

Participating nonprofits include organizations dedicated to seniors, environmental sustainability, education, health and wellness, deployed soldiers and veterans. For example, a meetings customer seeking a team building experience could help nonprofit organization Clean the World build hygiene kits for distribution to impoverished people to help reduce hygiene-related deaths.
