Enlisting Heroes, our company-wide veteran hiring initiative, is not just the right thing to do, it is also the smart thing to do. Enlisting Heroes seeks to harness the skills and aptitudes veterans acquire throughout their military career and apply them to the business world. At Caesars Entertainment, there is no shortage of examples of veterans transitioning from successful careers in the military to successful careers in the gaming industry in a range of functions from property management, logistics, human resources, and more.
All Caesars Entertainment properties remain committed to aiding our nation’s veterans through employment opportunities and community outreach activities. In total, there have been more than 280 activities across the country and more than 2,000 veterans hired since the program’s launch in 2013. The company is proud to have donated approximately $1 million dollars towards veterans organizations. Our employees have also volunteered more than 4,000 hours in aiding community veterans groups.
The company has donated to community partners including USO, Share Village (formerly known as Veterans Village), Wounded Warriors Foundations, US Vets, Honor Flight, USA Cares, Rebuilding Together and Disabled Patriot Fund, which help veterans and their families with financial assistance, housing, job training and access to essential services.
Caesars Entertainment HERO volunteers and SALUTE members regularly partner with community veterans groups in recognizing vets for their service, rebuilding or renovating homes and facilities of local vets, and sponsoring Memorial Day and Veterans Day events. We also offer discounts on meals, rooms and entertainment for guests who have served.
Caesars Entertainment is grateful to the esteemed organizations that have bestowed various honors upon the company for its work employing and supporting community veterans through the Enlisting Heroes program. Such accolades include:
