PRIVACY OPTIONS
Request information about how Caesars uses your information
Residents of some countries and U.S. states can request information regarding (i) the categories of information we have collected about them, (ii) the categories of sources from which the information was collected, (iii) the business or commercial purpose for collecting, selling, or sharing the information, and (iv) the categories of third parties with whom we have shared personal information.
Request a copy of your information (right to access)
Residents of some countries and U.S. states can obtain a portable copy of the information that you have provided to us or that we have collected about you. We will provide a copy of information collected from January 1, 2022, through the date of your request, unless doing so would be impossible or would involve disproportionate effort. Eligible individuals may request a different time period, provided that the start date is no earlier than January 1, 2022.
Confirm if Caesars is using your information (right to confirm processing)
Residents of some U.S. states can confirm whether we are using/processing your information. “Processing” means any operation or set of operations performed on your information. Examples include collection, use, storage, disclosure, analysis, deletion, or modification of your information.
Delete your information
Residents of some countries and U.S. states can request that we delete their information from our records. There are limitations or restrictions on what we can delete, however. For example, we cannot delete information that we’re required by law to keep. When required, we will also direct our agents, affiliates, business partners, and vendors to delete the requestor's information, subject to applicable law. Deleting your information is permanent and cannot be undone.
Limit use of your sensitive personal information
Residents of some U.S. states can limit our use of their sensitive personal information to the original purpose for which the information was collected and other authorized uses listed in state regulations. Residents of other states can opt out of any or all processing of their sensitive personal information. Sensitive personal information varies by state but can include a Social Security or driver’s license number, biometric data, precise geolocation data, racial or ethnic origin, and other information described in state privacy statutes. Please note that gaming regulations and other laws may require us to collect your sensitive personal information before we can allow you to use some of our real money gaming services. If you choose to opt out of the processing of any required sensitive personal information, you will no longer be able to use these services.
Correct your information
Residents of certain countries and U.S. states have the legal right to correct inaccurate information in our records, subject to applicable legal exceptions.
Prevent the sale of your information (‘do not sell’ request)
Residents of certain states can prevent the sale of their personal information. A “sale” under applicable state law may include sharing information with a third party in exchange for any valuable benefit—monetary or otherwise. We also offer this option to all Caesars Rewards members, regardless of residency. Please note that exercising this opt-out will not prevent a sale/transfer of your information to a third party in connection with a merger, acquisition, bankruptcy, or other sale of all or a portion of our assets.
Prevent the sharing/use of your information for cross contextual behavioral advertising (targeted advertising)
Residents of certain states can prevent the use or sharing of their information for “cross contextual behavioral advertising” or “targeted advertising.” These are advertisements that are targeted to your predicted interests based on your activities across third party websites, applications, or other services. Even if you exercise this opt-out, you may still see advertisements on our websites and mobile apps, including advertisements that are displayed to you based on your activities within our own websites, mobile apps, and/or other services we provide.
Prevent the automated processing of your information (profiling)
Residents of certain countries and U.S. states can prevent the use of automated processing of their information to evaluate, analyze, or predict their economic situation, health, personal preferences, interests, reliability, behavior, location, or movements if that processing is used by us to make a decision resulting in the provision or denial of financial and lending services, housing, insurance, education enrollment, criminal justice, employment opportunities, health care services, or access to basic necessities. We do not believe that we currently use automated processing for any of these purposes. However, we are providing an opt out right to all eligible persons in case these legal requirements or our practices change in the future.
Question a profiling decision
If you are a Minnesota resident and we use profiling to make a decision about you that results in the provision or denial of financial or lending services, housing, insurance, education enrollment or opportunities, criminal justice, employment opportunities, health care services, or access to essential goods or services, you have the right to question the result of such profiling, to be informed of the reason that the profiling resulted in the decision, and, if feasible, to be informed of what actions that you might have taken to secure a different decision and the actions you might take to secure a different decision in the future. You also have the right to review the personal data that was used in the profiling. If our decision is determined to have been based upon inaccurate personal data, you have the right to have the data corrected and the profiling decision reevaluated based upon the corrected data. To question a profiling decision, please email your request to privacyquestions@caesars.com.
Request a list of third parties that have received personal information
Residents of certain states can request a list of any third parties that have received personal information from us. Note that "third parties" do not include our affiliates or any persons or companies that process personal information on our behalf.
Deactivate your Caesars Rewards or online gaming account
Customers who do not have a legal right to delete their information can instead deactivate their Caesars Rewards account or online gaming account. If we can verify your identity, we will disable your account and delete your account information as soon as we are legally able to do so. We will also adjust account settings so that your information is not shared with business partners, and you will no longer receive any marketing communications from us. Deactivating your account is permanent and cannot be undone.
Appeals
Residents of certain U.S. states have the right to appeal our decision regarding a request related to the rights above. Confirm your eligibility above. If eligible, you may appeal our decision by emailing us at privacyquestions@caesars.com.
