Cancer is serious. But Caesars team members’ monumental efforts to fight it are NOT.
Across the country, our properties raised almost $604,000 for the American Cancer Society recently, competing to outdo each other through our Campaign for the Cause.
And they did it having fun… dancing down runways in bedazzled bras and boxers, and walking with local celebrities.
Caesars Foundation pitched in an additional $40,000 to the winning property’s local ACS chapter.
Horseshoe Tunica and Tunica Roadhouse dusted the competition, hosting 17 events to raise awareness and money; more than 1,000 team members pitched in, volunteering for a total of 5,068 hours. Tunica raised $158,000 through its Battle of the Bras event, which drew more than 400 supporters.
Harrah’s Ak- Chin took second place and the Northwest Louisiana region, which includes Horseshoe Bossier and Harrah's Louisiana Downs, earned third. In honor of National Cancer Prevention Month – and our team members’ hard work and indomitable spirits – check out how they raised all that cash…
