He traveled thousands of miles to his new home.
Now, Caesar is standing tall at his 110,000-square-foot empire, Caesars Southern Indiana, the new land-based casino.
The statue was sculpted by Gist Specialties in Las Vegas, the same company that created the statue for Caesars Bluewaters Dubai. Caesar was packed up and transported from the desert to Southern Indiana in November, where he awaited his big reveal.
Caesars Southern Indiana opened to the public on Dec. 12.
The new property replaced the 21-year-old riverboat casino, known as Horseshoe Southern Indiana.
Along with the new statue, the property also features gaming, new bars, lounges and restaurants, a non-smoking gaming area, high limits areas and a new sports book.
As for the riverboat, it officially closed on Dec. 9.
