Caesars Entertainment is pleased to share that we were recognized as one of the most community-minded companies in the country (and the industry leader) by the Civic 50, a Points of Light initiative. Points of Light is a world-recognized leader in evaluating and recognizing corporate social responsibility.
This is the fourth year we’ve received this recognition from the Civic 50 and the third year we’ve led our industry. We are very proud that, by working together, we’ve demonstrated sustained leadership and recognition for our citizenship and philanthropic work.
Over the past year we’ve announced and enhanced programs to showcase how the company and our team members go above and beyond to achieve a lasting environmental and social impact.
- We announced a goal to achieve gender equity in leadership roles by 2025. This goal also involves Caesars commitment to achieving 50 percent minorities or women in manager level roles by 2030.
- We are one of 400 global organizations committed to business leadership and policy alignment on climate science through the Science Based Target initiative (SBTi) and one of roughly 100 companies to have targets approved.
- Caesars Foundation donated its 61st meal delivery vehicle to Meals on Wheels America (MOWA). From 2003-2017, Caesars donated $3.3 million to MOWA, resulting in more than 4 million meals for seniors around the country.
Our positive impact is possible because of the outstanding commitment and work across the organization to improve the world and communities in which we live and work. And we won’t rest on our laurels; through PEOPLE PLANET PLAY, we will continue to strategically prioritize our leadership in corporate responsibility.
