HERO Stars logo

It’s that time a year again when we get to shine the spotlight on three incredible Caesars team members who have gone above and beyond in their dedication to community service. Please meet Caesars’ newest HERO Stars, each of whom receive a $500 donation to contribute to a HERO nonprofit community partner of their choice.

HERO Stars

TATodd Anderson, Table Games Floor Supervisor, Horseshoe Hammond

Todd is an extremely dedicated volunteer for the American Cancer Society – just this year alone he has already logged more than 175 hours for the cause! His participation includes four different Relay for Life events, and his biggest money maker is by selling more than 1,000 homemade chocolate chip cranberry pecan cookies. Todd has raised thousands of dollars for the American Cancer Society, and has also shaved his head annually for the past four years to show his solidarity with the St. Baldrick’s Foundation. In addition, Todd has done great work with the Meals on Wheels organization, packing hundreds of meals to feed the hungry. It’s no surprise that Todd designates his $500 donation to his Relay For Life efforts – now he’s half way to his $1,000 fundraising goal!

GPGreisy Pacton, Assistant Restaurant Manager, Giada at the Cromwell

Greisy Pacton is passionate about engaging young minds. She leads Caesars Entertainment’s Junior Achievement relationship for the entire Las Vegas region, working closely with the organization to recruit volunteers to teach financial literacy education at partner school Walter Long ES. Greisy inspired 34 coworkers to teach students key financial principles such as earning, creating a budget, and starting a savings plan. Collectively the volunteers logged over 270 hours in a single day and 872 students benefitted from their contribution. The event helped teach at-risk students the importance of staying in school and getting a good education to have a solid financial future. Greisy has dedicated her $500 donation to Junior Achievement of Southern Nevada.

LZLuke Zeysing, Hotel Ops Manager, The LINQ

Luke Zeysing is incredible at connecting the Caesars community to important local initiatives. For the past few years, he has taken a leadership role in local Walk-for-Wishes event, a fundraising walkathon for the Make-A-Wish Foundation. This year the Caesars Foundation was presenting sponsor of the Las Vegas event, and Luke personally ensured 93 Caesars team members’ participation. Thanks to Luke the Caesars team was the third largest group there, and raised $2,450 additional dollars for the Make-A-Wish Foundation. making it the second largest corporate contributor. The funds raised by Luke and his team are invested locally with Make-A-Wish Southern Nevada, allowing it to grant the wishes of children diagnosed with life-threatening medical conditions. Luke contributed his $500 donation to the Goodie 2 Shoes Foundation, which provides shoes and socks to disadvantaged children.

Congratulations to this quarter’s incredible HERO Stars! Thank you for your remarkable dedication to our communities.
