This is the best place on the strip where you should listen to Dean Martin' "That's Amore". The one place in the heart of the Vegas strip that has wonderful history and is evolving to shine, every day. Fully renovated rooms, great bar settings, direct access to the Wheel promenade, best priced buffet with high quality food, provocative shows. Spend few minutes to watch the beautiful flamingos, duckies and fish pond.

Let me get the bad out of the way. I booked this trip back around November and then called on Black Friday to see if cyber sale was a better rate. I did get all nights comped so it was a better deal! I was offered early check in on the phone since our flight got in around. 8 am on Wednesday because I asked about just paying for Tuesday and just checking in when we get there on Wednesday. She stated she would put us down for early check in for 35 or 40 for early check in. Upon arrival I was told they would never say that and it was 50 for early check in but if I up graded we could get early check in. We did upgrade just so we had a room before 4 pm. I say all this because it's the only thing that was bad. We love the Flamingo, yes it's older but it has the old Vegas charm and it's a perfect spot and has really good amenities. It connects to the promenade with a lots of bars and food. Easily get to Linq, Cromwell, Harrahs without having step more than a few steps outside of weather is bad like it sometimes is in February. The rooms we have had are always nice and clean, small refrigerator, and safe. Perfect strip views. We know we're not in the room other than sleeping and showering so that's all we need it for. Ate the breakfast buffet twice both were good with lots to choose from including steak and sushi. They have a variety of food choices to choose from like Johnny Rockets, Subway, Nathan's, margaritaville and Carlos n Charlie's just inside the hotel. Plus all the others offered at the sister properties within a short walk. The property is clean with a bird habit in the center courtyard with large koi, flamingos, and pelicans. It's a pretty area to stroll and walk the pathway near the pool. Several convenient stores in hotels you can buy beers 2 for 7 bucks and walk around. Also cvs across street by Bally's has any other things you might have forgot at cheaper than hotel prices. So speaking on behalf of all 4 couples we all had a great time and enjoyed our stay at the Flamingo.
