Being in a “city that never sleeps“ AND the REALLY high “resort fee” that I didn’t have a need for but had to pay anyway, I found it inconvenient and mind blowing that the room service hours are so limited. Therefore leaving the only option of either going all the way outside and across the street to pickup a delivery or all the way down and across the hotel to your food court. I don’t know that I actually got my money’s worth staying here. I didn’t even have a do not disturb sign for my door. My room upon first entry was dirty. I had a great view but the windows were so dirty it was hard to get a good picture from my particular room. I was disappointed there was not a minibar for the price I paid. Once I left a tip for housekeeping the room was completely cleaned and the nasty velvet couch had been vacuumed or lint brushed as it should’ve been before my arrival. I called and asked to be next to my sister’s block of rooms for her bachelorette party. On the phone the representative was nice. She said she would document the request and went ahead and changed my room. Upon checking in I requested to be near my sister’s block of rooms for her bachelorette party. I was told I was given a “free upgrade” and I would have to make the request again once they arrived and checked in the next day. However, I was no where near them for the entirety of my stay and again, disappointed. It seems to me for the amount of money we collectively paid, this would be a simple request for good customer service. I did hike to the other side to visit them each day and got to see great views on their side of the hotel which is where my original reservation was for. Had I known, I could have just kept my room. How does the hotel not see or have control over reservations and accommodations? If I don’t use any of the “resort amenities”, I should be refunded upon checkout. The fact that you charge this and don’t offer half of what a regular hotel even in a small town would offer is insane to me. We had a great time on the strip etc. For the money, and inconvenience I could’ve just stayed somewhere else.

This was a long weekend getaway for us, and chose the Flamingo for a few reasons: we like staying at a different place each visit to Vegas; it was centrally located; we were able to get a good price. Overall we were satisfied for what we paid.We had requested a King Bed. At check-in they said this wasn't available, and would give us a 2 Queen Room with a view of the High Roller (the ferris wheel.) Definitely worth it! We loved seeing it from our room at night, as well as the whole Flamingo property. We were visiting in February during a real cold snap (it actually snowed! In Vegas!) so I can't speak to the quality of the pools, etc. But we did walk around and see the Flamingo habitat, which was pretty awesome. The hotel/casino is large and pretty easy to navigate. Restaurants on site are great, and the Promenade is right out the door. Caesar's, Harrah's, Bellagio, Mirage all a short walk away if you like to move around. The hotel is showing its wear and tear. We were on the 20th floor, and as soon as we exited the elevator, we could tell the carpet was water damaged at some point. Big rolls and bumps along the whole hallway. Everything scuffed and dirty like it hasn't seen a coat of paint in many years. The room was better, but just average, not spectacular. Mattresses are pretty soft and lumpy. Bathroom is nice, with separate shower and tub. There is a TV inside the mirror, which we turned on only to see what it was like. There was no sound (broken speaker) and then the "off" button was busted so it took us 10 minutes to get it to turn off.
Definitely Going To Stay Here Again!

We had a strip view room and it was on the 10th floor so we were able to get a great view of the water show across the street. We also enjoyed the view of all the lights of the strip at night. The staff at the Flamingo was really great and our room was very clean and had been remodeled recently. It was also very quiet for those that like to sleep a little during their visit to Vegas (my husband).
