Our room was not ready after checking four times with front desk and having to wait in long line to find out. Each time we checked, we were told we could take a lesser grade room but they would not refund the difference. Finally got our room around 8:00 PM and it was not worth the wait or extra $$. The only saving grace for the not great experience is maybe the hotel is not at full staff yet. If they are not fully staffed, shame on them because I saw the cleaning staff still getting rooms ready at 11:30 PM. I get extra cleaning has to be done but even a better reason to more people to work and not work your current employees to death. I am guessing the new guidelines also include that rooms cannot be cleaned daily but there was no communication about having to request clean towels and replenishment of toiletries. When I called they said they could give us clean sheets if we wanted to change them ourselves. We had to put our dirty towels and trash in the hallway to have them pickup. If they are having to waive their services from Covid guidelines, the hotels should be waiving their outlandish resort fees.

This is about the Flamingo but it is not exclusive. I will write other reviews as well. I am local and stay on the strip at different properties twice a month. I have done this for years. The room is...More

The room is average. The people are nice enough. Food choices are adequate. Here is the problem. Everyone needs to quit using COVID as an excuse to be short staffed and provide terrible customer service. Long lines, no cocktail service, sporadic valet service, Do your part to re-build the economy. Call some people in, get them off unemployment, and make people want to come back.

I stayed free with Wyndham Rewards so at least I didn't have to pay anything other than resort fees and I'm not sure what value I received for that. We couldn't get into the pool unless we were willing pay a lot of money and no room service. Our rooms were a typical room nothing bad nothing spectacular. The first room were assigned our keys didn't work and the room didn't have a certified sticker that it was cleaned so had go back down, get in line again, and get another room assignment. Bright spot was that Check in staff was friendly, helpful and apologetic. What was horrible was security or lack of. We had people in our hallways late night with non stop screaming and hollering and small children running up and down the halls. Our Nonsmoking floor had people smoking pot all day long and the hallway and our room would reek of the smell. They policed us non stop on not standing next to my husband and correct mask wearing unless you were smoking and then you can sit anywhere with it off. I don't understand that thought process of allowing people to blow out the smoke when that's the whole reason we wear masks! Caesars Properties protocol should include non smoking and it would have felt more reassuring that they really want to mitigate exposure and keep people safe.Outside sidewalk in front of Flamingo, Linq, Harrah's area, we didn't feel safe walking. People loitering and sleeping everywhere with trash laying around pretty much all day. We have come to Vegas every year, sometimes twice for 20 years and I have never seen it like this in this area.Very disappointing.
