Reception made it in the beginning very difficult to get a room when I already had booked a room!!! We arrived a little bit early but they could have helped us out and offered another room cause we were exhausted from the long drive. But all thanks to the mini suit we upgraded to, kept us happy with the hotel.
Just one thing after another.

Check in starts at 4pm. We arrived at 6pm and we were informed the king size room was not available, on a Tuesday. We were then told we were being "upgraded" to a newly renovated room with 2 queen sizes, and that we could change the next day but wouldn't be an upgraded room. The room ended up being on of the furthest from the elevator and had no view of anything. The shower has a missing tile in it and cell service was non-exsisent in the room. I am afraid to of what a non-upgraded room looks like. The cell service wouldn't have been an issue if there wasn't a ridcioulous two item limit allowed on the Wi-Fi, but for whatever reason, there is an additional charge atop the $40 a day resort fee if you wanted to add a third device. This meant I had to choose if i wanted to connect both cell phones for my wife and I or if I could use my laptop.Worst of all, immediately after checking in I am approached by what I believe to be a Flamingo employee asking if I received my "comps" at check-in. I go over to the station and I'm pitched all these great deals I can be set-up with, go through a list of shows I'm interested in and at the end of 5 minutes of taking, learn it's a time share scam, exactly what every traveler wants to be hit with after just arriving. Not only are they given a booth at the front desk, they are stationed at the elevators and like vultures try to grab and stop you every single time you are leaving or arriving to your room. I don't understand why the Flamingo or any other casino would allow this constant harassment of their guests. Any sucker they end up convincing to purchase a time share means a loss of future customers at this casino. All around, an unpleasant experience with the exception of the hard working maintence staff who kept our room clean.

Recently had a very disappointing stay here. The room we had booked over 18 months prior to the visit was not available. We paid extra for a strip view (the whole reason for booking a hotel on the strip and having the additional resort tax) but when we queried not having one we were informed that it had never been allocated to us. Initially we were offered a room that had no cold water. We were placed in a room on the side of the hotel, not even a view from the rear. When we spoke to a manager, Renatta, she was very dismissive and couldn’t care less whether our stay was pleasant or not. No facility to make a hot drink. It was a shame as this was first time that we had chosen a strip hotel; I’m sure we won’t do it again, and will avoid this hotel chain in future. The location of the hotel was good, but not worth the extra short walk to a hotel off strip.
