We were in town to see a concert at Caesars and this hotel is right across the street so it was very convenient. Theres a few bars in this hotel alone including Margaritaville. The hotel itself is huge and can be easy to get lost in. The location is great, very quick walking distance to a variety of places. The room we got was outdated but I've read they have many updated rooms/suites available. They have a flamingo reserve in the hotel. Beware of resort fee. This place is very busy, would not recommend to anyone looking for a quiet getaway.

I didn't have a great experience at the flamingo, but think that other folks might. It seemed best suited to folks who wanted to enjoy the DJ pool party scene. The website doesn't give very clear info on what amenities are included in the resort fee, so I'd definitely recommend calling to be sure it is the spot for you. I also found some staff to be incredibly kind and knowledgable, and some gave out incorrect information. Here are some hints:All the pool parties cost $11, and there is almost always a pool party. The family friendly pool is really small and crowded. The dining options are no cheaper than at other spots ( the venetian and the paris and new york all have better in hotel food options for the same prices ).The location is right on the strip, the rooms are bright and modern. The casino didn't smell too smokey. So - a good spot to stay if you don't mind paying some money and being in the heart of the party. Not a great place to stay if you want to be on a budget or have some quiet pool time.Oh - the wildlife preserve is really nice though. It's small, but the birds are well cared for.

The biggest negative by far are the hawks in the lobby that attack you coming and going EVERY time you get on or off the elevators trying to sell you a Wyndham timeshare! They outright lied to us when we arrived saying that the registration line was sooo long (it was!) and we were too early to check in anyway and the hotel would charge us extra, so we needed to come over to their desk and get a free lunch voucher. It was a big LIE. After we figured out their game, we went to the kiosk and checked in just fine, although we could not request a room on the same floor for our daughter under the same reservation. Next big negative was the constant rattling AC motor in a wooden cabinet in the ceiling of our OLD room. Even keeping the bathroom door closed helped minimally. Third negative was the booming club music that started nightly at 10:30. It sounded like the club was two floors below us but we were on the 17th floor, so not sure where it was! The strip view room we requested was useless bc the ad for Donny and Marie that covered the outside of the building blocks the view unless you stand way back from the window and even then, it is blurry. Finally, the ppl in the room next door were smoking pot. We got big doses of it coming through our vents every time they came back to their room (which was clear bc they were very loud). We knew pot was legal in Nevada, but we were sure we booked a non-smoking floor. So, after two days of this, my husband went down to the concierge (bc registration desk still had long line) to ask if 17 was a smoking floor. The concierge said he didn’t know and made no attempt to find out. Hubby told him the situation and concierge told him to go back to room and dial 0 and if he reported it enough times to Security, they would do a “welfare check”. REALLY?! Worst hotel I have ever stayed in on the strip and I have stayed in MANY! Location is only positive and that is why I booked it.
