We took a short trip to Vegas knowing that we had stayed at The Flamingo before, we booked a room as well as reserved a daybed at the pool. It was eery not seeing the large crowds but it was a nice change. We were given a fantastic deal on our room. The room was fine. a little run down but still nice. We were in a section that had not been updated but it was clean and comfortable. The check in was great. no contact and very fast. Table limits were higher than normal. Drink service was slow but there weren’t the normal amount of servers. The pool check in was a breeze since we reserved early for a daybed. we fully expected the prices to be high for food and drinks. Our server was not attentive and our first round of drinks were not good at all. we expressed that and there was no effort to remedy the situation. The cabana host helping her did most of the work as we never really saw her until the end at payment. He was fantastic! Food was great. The remainder of our drinks were great. Again the server was not up to the standards we expected. It was not very busy. We spent approximately 400 dollars at the pool for the afternoon for mediocre service. Needless to say we were disappointed. During the stay we found ourselves at Paris a lot. We had a completely different experience there. Very nice clean and the entire staff at restaurant and casino floor were THE BEST. Our next trip we will be staying at Paris. A Caesars property as well but the clientele and employees were second to none!

Prior to leaving for my trip I was reading all the negative reviews and almost went to another Hotel, thank goodness I did not. First off my check in was a breeze at the Kiosk, no issues whatsoever. Our room was on the 28th floor non-smoking section, the hallway going to the room was clean and the smell was fresh. When we got to our room everything was spotless, nothing gross behind the beds, under the beds, the bathroom was clean and so was the shower. I did rent a daybed prior to arriving and again pool entry was simple Simon stuff and the staff in the pool area were were friendly and genuine our service from them was top notch. To top it off we had a dinner at Bugsy and Meyer Steakhouse, the meal was AMAZING!

The Flamingo hotel pictures online were beautiful and I was looking forward to get inside of my friends and I hotel room. They did temperature checks for each guest and had a kiosk to help with checking in/getting lines down, which I love the most. I finally got my room key and headed to the room to get settled in, shower and take a nap from our five hour flight we had just gotten off of. When we arrived on our hotel room floor, I was already disappointed. I had booked the Flamingo hotel for a NON SMOKING room; they have a strict no smoking policy which would result in you having to pay $500 if the policy was broken. The smell of cigarettes were horrible, as well as the filthy carpeting/filthy walls. We headed down the filthy walk way and gotten to our room to see even more filth. When I tell you we were disgusted, it was a mess.. the room had rust, toilet seat was filthy, you could tell nothing was wiped down/cleaned. There was a filthy couch inside of the little (double bedded) room. We didn’t even want to lay across the beds or sit our luggage on any furniture. We immediately gathered our belongings to check out and find another hotel; we were cat fished. I went back into the line at the front desk and explained to management about our experience and what we thought we would be getting ourselves into. Susie looked a little irritable at first and explained that we could upgrade into one of their renovated rooms for an additional $15.00 per night. Susie did not believe what we described until I showed her a picture of the filthy couch inside of the room.. I wish I had gotten more pictures of everything. After seeing the picture Susie stepped away from the computer to get more assistance from another manager for about 5 mins. She then returned and gave us new room keys and hand sanitizer, although she wasn’t empathetic in the beginning she made things a little better shortly. Also, room service did not stop pass our room to collect any trash or give us fresh rags and towels. I had to contact house keeping and they only took an extra hour, after calling twice. I will not be returning back to any Flamingo locations, they promote false advertisement and do not aim to accommodate their guest immediately. I would not recommend if you would like a decent/luxury stay.I do applaud them on upgrading my room at no additional charge, although that should be given to each guest and not the bottle of the barrel rooms that need cleaning and renovation.

Check in is horrible I arrived 4 hours after check- in time and my room wasn’t ready, then when they assigned me a room they had me go into a uncleaned room with dirty laundry all over the room. There is no cell phone service at all and they charge for WiFi for more than 2 devices. Hotel is ratchet Saw 2 drunks passed out in hallway. Alarms go off constantly. Building is old it just sucks I will never stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Flamingo. The location was perfect, so near Battista's and other great places. I did miss having a mini-fridge and microwave in the room, and I couldn't locate an ice machine so we didn't get to have ice in our room. We could not get access to the pool, that was a bummer!
