Our family of four checked into Flamingo on a Friday evening. The “new” thing in Vegas is self check in kiosks which are an absolute joke, because nearly everyone who used them needed assistance. After waiting in line for the kiosk, we discovered our reservation required in person assistance, which meant we had to go wait in another line to speak to a real human. She was less than helpful, gave me attitude, and ended up not being able to accommodate our request. We weaves through the casino and crowds to find our set of elevators, and arrived at our floor (15) to find an unpleasant odor and carpeting that was coming off the floor in the center of the hall so badly I nearly tripped over it more than once. Our room was dated to say the least, which would have been ok had it been clean but it was definitely not the cleanest room. The bathroom also left a lot to be desired. I will say the beds are comfortable. The night club next door was very loud throughout the night. At the end of the evening I needed to take my medicine, so I took the ice bucket in search of the ice machine. I walked down the never ending halls to find the place where the ice machine was, and it was empty. I came back to the room and tried to call the front desk, but found the phone did not have a placard showing which buttons would call which department. So after the 9th call, I reached “guest services” and I use that term loosely because they provided no service. The lady I spoke to stated that the ice machines had been removed because of COVID (ok I understand that but why didn’t anyone tell us, put a sign in our room, or even just take away our ice bucket?) I then asked if we could have some ice brought to us and she said no, again because of COVID. Apparently if I am sitting at the blackjack table in the casino, a server can come right up to me and bring me a beer, but i can’t request ice be left outside my door where contact isn’t even required? Please don’t use COVID as a cop out! Overall, the casino is incredibly smoky, the service is poor, and the building and rooms are dated. Pass this up and visit another hotel in Vegas. Flamingo is not worth your money.

Although I live local when I was looking to get away for my 60th birthday weekend they gave me best offer due to being a reward member. The room is a double queen Spa tower and super nice. The staff super nice. The pool nice but small. The pictures are misleading for the beach club for families. We rented a cabana for $200. It was dirty and really not a good cabana. The roof is ripped many other issues/. . Mandatory $150 food and beverage you have to order. Not worth it. Being a local I have been and rented many cabana's my advice is don't here. That said shout out to Jessika and David both outstanding staff!!!
Bad customer service and dirty room.

Stay far away from the Flamingo! We booked a strip view room but when we arrived to the room it was a view of a roof top. When we went back to check in the lady was rude and said it was a partial view. She moved us down the hall and still no view. That was the least of our problems. The room was dirty and smelled. I had to clean crumbs off the desk, spilled drinks etc. The bathroom was dirty as well. After we were done cleaning we pulled back the sheets to find a big stain, hair, and torn sheets! That was the final straw. I did not come to clean other people's mess and sleep on torn, dirty, and stained sheets! We went down to talk to the manager. We waited half an hour and he offered to move us rooms. No thanks! I failed to mention the whole place smells of weed. We ended up at New York New York where we were greeted with a friendly lady upon check in. She was breath of fresh after being treated so rudely at Flamingo. Our room was clean and had a nice view at New York New York. I refuse to ever step foot in the Flamingo again. 4 hours Wasted.

Not to mention the liquor store less than 200 yards away. Location, location, location. Clean, comfy room, friendly staff, & great views. My choice from here on out. 👍🏿👍🏿
