Had a nice stay early MarchBooking in was fast and they completed our request of a lower floor room as wife suffers with bad hip and can't go in a lift so must use emergency exit stairsThe room was nice, large and clean, all good apart from on other side of the building to our emergency exitWent back and had a really good chat with a very helpful Receptionist (sorry can't remember name but all were nice and helpful during stay) and he moved us to a room near the emergency exit access and saved us loads of walking, we moved following morning. We had voucher for breakfast, just a $9 attached to room number and used the counter/cafe service for tea and sandwich, the sandwiches were superb. Remember to take passport for id when getting them on a morning, very busy and we ate ours outside by firepit.Location was perfect, right in the centre of the strip.Really enjoyed the Linq Promonade, lots to do there and places for beers and food. The pool had just opened and it was busy but we got a sunbed most days, not exactly in a perfect position but hey ho, we got a few hours chilling in the sunshine.Staff at pool very good, lots of security and they did a good job.Would stay here again.
Historic - comfortable - location - what more do you need?

Now over 70 years old - the oldest hotel in vegas and full of history. Opened by Bugsy Siegel - now how las vegas is that! This is the 2nd time I have visited the Flamingo and this time, I understood things a little better. Hotel is located conveniently to get to off of I-15 and after the offramp straight shot into the parking garage. Into the hotel and able to use the self checkin kiosk (after waiting in line) and off to my room.Would recommend that you get one to the rooms that has been remodeled for a little more money. Room was comfortable but didn't really spend that much time in it - didn't go to casino as not a gambler. Just stayed for the one night. Yes I know they have some nice grounds to walk around and plenty of restaurants, but... Showered, went out to dinner and then onto some music. Was great to not drive as everything was close to walk to. Coming back and bed super comfortable.Self checked out and on my way back on the road. Who could ask for more? Prices were reasonable (cheaper than others I looked at) and had a great time. If you are in the area, you should look into this place. Will stay again for sure if in vegas - hmmm...

I've always wanted to stay at the flamingo, just because of the history behind it. It had been around for decades and people from all around the world know about it. It did not disappoint. Parking was easy, we didnt have to walk a mile through confusing parking structures and hotel corridors, it was a quick walk to the front desk from our car. The rooms have been updated and the bed, the bed was the most comfortable bed I've ever slept on! Rooms are decorated nicely. The best part about the flamingo is its location! It is located at a really fun part of the strip, across from ceasers if you want shopping. Margaritaville is connected to the flamingo, inn and out, plenty of bars, gordan Ramsey's fish and chips. They have live music in the alley between the flamingo and the linq, zip lining. Something for everyone. I literally did not have enough time to explore everything the flamingo has to offer in one weekend. The pool area looked amazing, the weather was a bit chilly for us to dip in though. They have actual flamingos, and a nice little park in the center of the casino with beautiful scenery. I have stayed at many casinos on the strip, this my favorite so far.

The staff were great on arrival offering to take our bags immediately. We were then sent to a self-service check-in where we got our key cards for our room. We had a HIGHROLLER ROOM which was nice, we had a view of the roller, the pool and surrounds as well as out into the desert. The room was fairly new, some of the lights weren't working properly and kept flickering in and out. The bathroom had a TV in-built in the mirror, ours was not working, I brought this up to reception multiple times but they never bothered to fix it. The room came with we were told was Breakfast included, what this really meant was $10 toward your breakfast each morning - Watch out for that one! It is cheaper to get breakfast elsewhere on and off of the strip! The location was perfect, right in the center of the strip with easy walking to most casinos and shows.
