would I book again. It's been a long time since I've stayed at Harrahs. I read the reviews and went against my better judgement. I decided to stay in the Coastal Tower - as it was reported as being renovated. Renovated, sure. Cleaned, no. I was only staying for 1 night (we booked a room for friends as well) and then going to stay where I normally stay. There were a few events happening this past weekend - that is not in Harrahs control. But what is, is having enough security presence to assist in keeping patrons from feeling comfortable enough to be loud in the lobby - just because. What is in Harrahs control - the check-in (great idea for the kiosk - but I still had to go to the desk - so that convenience was lost on me). Our check in rep (Na'jayah - something like that) was very pleasant and professional, even in dealing with my anger over the check-in machine. What is in Harrahs control - the cleaning of the room. It was not done. I ended up 'touching up' areas just to be able to get through the night. The bathroom appeared to have been 'cleaned' by someone with a cut hand? Fingerprint stains on the towels (we were able to use 2/5 - but that was fine as we needed the dirty ones to dry the floor from the shower - who in their right mind thought the 1/4 shower door was a good idea), there were red stains on the shower wall and I will spare you - but I had to clean the toilet as well - specifically the front of the bowl. There were zero wash cloths and the tissue box on the sink was totally wet. The mirror had not been cleaned properly either. There was clearly no vacuum run as there was debris left under the front post of the bed.I blacklight my sheets (as an avid hotel goer). I started at the pillows - mistake. Moved them. We could not sleep on the stained sheets. We slept on the top cover and turned the heat up to prevent needing to use the sheets. All other reviewers were correct - it's dirty, it's under supplied, it's poorly designed, and it's a firm no for me until some major changes are made. And I spend at the tables (too much) but having only 2 tables on a Sunday night with proper minimums is ridiculous. Thats a surefire way to take folks money quicker and get them off of your gambling floor.
