Before coming, I saw a lot of the recent negative reviews. I work in hospitality, and I think a lot of people don't realize how difficult it is to provide a great experience while all the COVID restrictions are in place. However, I believe Harrah's nailed it. I come from NH where our restrictions are a lot more lax, and I was blown away with the level of hospitality Harrah's was able to provide given what they are working with.I don't come to Atlantic City often, and when I do I always stay at the Borgata. However, Harrah's kept sending me offers for a junket flight and stay so I figured I'd give it a try. For those who are thinking of doing a Caesar's Reward Air trip, I highly recommend it! Very well coordinated and a lot of fun.STAFF - This was the best part of my stay. Everyone who I encountered at Harrah's could not have been more professional. Front desk, dealers, restaurant staff, waiters, everyone. Dealers really make or break what casinos I chose to gamble in, and the one's at Harrah's were the perfect level of social and engaging. ROOM - Clean and comfortable. I stayed in an Oceanfront Tower room on the 42nd floor and had views of the strip, boardwalk, marina and neighboring casinos. The rooms was just as updated as the Borgata. I'm a clean freak when it comes to hotels and the first thing I do is rip the bed apart and check out the linens. Everything was spotless. Only recommendation I have is to improve the WiFi and possibly offer that for free as most properties do now.CASINO - Again, I was here during COVID so it's hard to get a very good impression. I'm mainly a blackjack player though, and I never had trouble finding a seat at a table. However, I'm not a fan of the shuffler machines and there was only one table open with a traditional card shoe. But one was all I needed. Seemed to be a good variety of games and slots.RESTAURANTS - Plenty of variety and was your traditional casino fare - casual, steakhouse, seafood, Italian, burgers, pizza, high end, low end, etc. The 24/7 cafe actually has a really good selection compared to a lot of late night offerings at other properties. One comment I have just in general is that Atlantic City casino restaurants seem to close pretty early overall. I've noticed that during all my stays. So if you're like me and eat late, your options are somewhat limited.AMENITIES - The pool was closed due to COVID, but the indoor "dome" pool looked really cool and I can't wait to come back and check it out once things return to normal.CAESAR'S REWARD AIR - I tried researching this before I left, but couldn't find much info so I figure I'd provide an overview for anyone that is curious. I booked a rewards flight for a 3 night stay leaving Manchester, NH to AC. I paid a $35 booking fee which included flight, hotel and ground transportation. You don't get much information ahead of time, but don't panic. They e-mail out the itinerary information about a week in advance. At my home airport, there was a special check-in counter and a coordinator to point everyone in the right direction. There they will check your bags and give you a boarding pass. The plane was a chartered 737-400 operated by Swift Air (iAero). They assign seats, but spaced everyone properly. I had a row to myself. On arrival, you just follow the group out past the baggage claim and they put you on a charted bus. The bus arrives at your hotel and you get in a special line for check-in. Overall the process and was pretty quick and seamless. I highly recommend doing one of these junkets!OVERALL - I don't usually write long reviews, but felt I had to given the limited trip reports on rewards flights and the recent reviews on this website. I had a great experience, and the staff was truly the crown jewel of my trip. I didn't do to well in the casino, but the overall experience made it well worth it. My one suggestion would be adding a concierge desk. I understand that for reservations and such the rewards desk or front desk can handle that, but I'm more likely to stay on property when I can get the lay of the land from a concierge that can tell me all there is to see and do.Bravo to Harrah's for their handling of the COVID situation and to their staff that continue to work hard and put a smile on during all the craziness. Harrah's will be my new go-to when I travel to AC.
