I haven’t stayed at Harrahs in a few years and now I remember why. Booked and paid for Waterfront Tower on a Saturday night. Received a text that room was ready early and was placed in the Coastal Tower. Disappointing! It was a hike to get to the room. Hallways were dark and dirty. Room wasn’t nice or updated. I usually don’t care to much about the view, but our view was horrible of the roof and air conditioners. Crumbs left on couch, stained lampshades, bed frame didn’t fit the mattress so every time we walked by, we bumped our shins (have the bruises to prove it.). Shower was a mess. I don’t who designed them, but they need to figure it out. One shower door, so one side was completely open so the water goes onto the floor and you catch a draft. You have to lean into the shower to turn it on, therefore, your hair gets wet. Makes no sense at all. To top it off, the bathroom sink was clogged! Casino was dirty. Cups, old masks, and used wipes strewn everywhere on slots. Casino walking paths were not level and had dips, so if you weren’t careful, you could lose your balance. In comparison to Borgata, Ocean, Hard Rock, Harrahs was not clean. I wouldn’t stay there overnight again, however, I would go for the day. They had several slot machines to chose from and I had a lot of play time. We also ate at the upscale Italian restaurant. Service was impeccable A+. Food was average and not worth the price, but the wait staff were amazing!
