While checking in for my honeymoon with my wife, the receptionist wasn’t very friendly at all. I have stayed at both Bally’s and Caesar’s previously and I was greeted there by friendly and professional receptionist. They would go over the the hotel, restaurants, policies, discounts that I may have to eat or park they would also ask the reason for my stay once it was my birthday and my room was upgraded free of charge. Other times they would wave the late check out fees. At Harrahs there was non of that. Since it was my honeymoon and the receptionist never engaged in any type of conversation, I actually asked about maybe getting a late check out. She stated it would be a $25.00 charge for the first hour than additional after that. She proceeded to ask me to sign the check in form then handed me my room keys and gave me a room number. When I arrived to the suite that I paid for, the furniture was old and outdated. The water pressure in the sink and shower was horrible. The shower leaked onto the floor, so after showering I had to mop up the puddle with a towel. Both the cable and WiFi keeped going in out losing reception. There was broken glass and spilled drinks in the elevator. I had asked a security guard a question and after staring off into space for about five seconds she finall looked at me and said hi what can I help you with. I don’t think I will ever spend another night at Harrahs. Sorry but very disappointed.
