My Husband booked this Hotel for 4 days as a surprise getaway and I was very skeptical staying here especially based on the reviews. Check-in takes way too long as there was only 1 agent available (Management needs to do better), at least 3 agents should be there during peak hours. We stayed on the 41st Floor in the Waterfront Tower (scenic views) but upon inspection of the room, I noticed that it was outdated and needs remodeling plus there was a hole in one of the sheets, mold in the shower and the ottoman was stained. You should definitely not trust housekeeping and walk with your own cleaning kit i.e. disinfectant wipes, spray & liquid for your own safety and health. The shower has run over so every use there's a pool of water in the floor which is annoying. Another thing that was frustrating was the Wi-Fi and phone service, it was spotty and had poor reception which could be due to height. In terms of amenities I only used the Spa, compliments of Hubby booking back to back appointments on Thursday & Friday which included a mini-massage with Dan, an essentials massage with Lynn & a facial with Cyndi. They were all welcoming, friendly and professional...definitely felt more relaxed, refreshed and rejuvenated. Plus I received a gift bag with sample size Dr. Gross skin products used by the Spa. You do have the option to use the Spa all day until 7pm, but I guess that depends on the treatment. Also, love that there's a Starbucks upon premises right next to the Waterfront Tower and Pool after Dark, however because it's Harrah's owned, it does not honor star rewards. This is a super busy and crowded resort at times especially on the weekends, so bear that in mind as patience will be needed. There are check-out machines which are quicker than waiting for an agent. Still on the fence of returning as I think there are better resort options available.
