I recently stayed at this hotel for a couple of days during an event at the hotel. I had a room in on the 4th floor of the Coastal Tower. It was a newly renovated room which was nicely done. The room was clean, comfortable and had a modern look. However, It had no view at all, as it overlooked a roof and directly at another tower with broken windows. I could not see anything but a bit of sky if I looked up. Oh well, I didn't pay much for the room and I didn't spend much time there either, so the lack of any view out the window didn't bother me. My real complaint is that the room is dark especially the bathroom. They really need to add some more light over the bathroom vanity and mirror. You are probably better off not booking a "newly renovated" room as I have stayed in other towers in the hotel and the other rooms are good.Other than this complaint, I thought the hotel was good. They are using check-in kiosks to avoid lines at check-in. The machines look up your reservation by using your driver's license or credit card. It gives you your keys and prints directions to your room. If your room doesn't happen to be ready yet the machine will send a text to your cell phone letting you know your room is ready and you can stop by the machine and pick up your keys.I don't gamble so I can't provide an opinion on the casino. It looked OK as I passed through it.
