I just don't understand all the recent negative reviews. We are regulars and visit AC a few times a year and have stayed at Harrah's about a half dozen times previously, this was our first trip on a holiday weekend (Labor Day). We expected it to be busy with crazy lines and waits, and were pleasantly surprised. While it was busy, I didn't feel it was overcrowded and had no major issues with wait lines anywhere. Despite the self in kiosk system crashing, I still got through the check in line in about ten minutes, I just don't buy the reviews where people claim to have waited 30-60 minutes. While I agree with some others that the parking garage needs a little cleaning, I had no other issues with cleanliness. Laguna tower room was spotless and updated. I don't always do well on the slots but this trip I doubled my money. Food options are still limited, but I think Harrah's does the best they can considering Covid restrictions. Even with what looked like longer lines I never had to wait more than a few minutes for food, and the pizza from Pin Up Pizza was not just good but fantastic for "food court" food. Hand sanitizer was available all over, but I do agree they should have bolted down the dispensers. I did see both the front desk and slot machines wiped down during my trip, and staff made sure guests were wearing masks. Also, information such as pool opening and restrictions, resort fees, restaurant hours, etc are ALL on the Harrah's website, and for all the complaints from people claiming they didn't know this information only have themselves to blame for not reading the info, it's totally there.To sum it up, things at Harrah's are just fine. Avoid the Waterfront tower and Atrium tower if you want updated rooms, as they are the only one not yet upgraded, all the other rooms have had facelifts. My only major negative is the people who visit and leave some of these reviews- it is so obvious people are throwing fits to try to get upgrade, or just have complaints about Covid restrictions, which you can't fairly blame the hotel for.Thank you Harrah's, we will be back soon.
