We stayed at Harrah's AC for three nights for a dance convention. We were given a room in the Coastal Tower. We were given an "accessible" room, I think (we didn't ask for one), but that still doesn't explain the absence of a key amenity: a shower door or shower curtain.Instead of a shower curtain or door, there was glass that covered just the front half of the area, leaving the back half completely open. I guess their thinking is that there would be human body in the way so the water would just stay put? Never mind that some folks also like the extra privacy a curtain/door offers. Needless to say, there was little we could do to prevent the bathroom from becoming a waterpark whenever the shower was used.Harrah's also subscribes to the Thénardier school of hospitality (charge 'em for the lice, extra for the mice, two percent for looking in the mirror twice...). I recommend you pack your own water bottles and snacks. Not only is everything crazy expensive, but most restaurants have lousy hours as well. And since Harrah's is walking distance to nothing, you have little choice but to buy a $12 sandwich and $5 water from the cafe if you dare want lunch on a Thursday, unless you have time to drive into AC. People complained about the stale smoke smell. Yes, it was there, but as someone who grew up in a house with smokers, I know that nothing short of new carpet, curtains, and paint will get rid of it. That didn't bother me, but it's something to be aware of.
