Harrah’s Ak-Chin is approximately an hour away from home, but as it turns out, well worth the drive time. A week or so preceding my stay, I received an offer in the mail for a complimentary 2 night stay so I booked. Most memorable/noteworthy details—1)Check-in was an extremely painless process that took all of a minute to complete. 2)Staff were all super friendly and helpful 3)A short time after I accessed the unit, the front desk gave a quick and thoughtful call to make sure I was pleased with the assigned room. Non-intrusive and delightful considering most hotels are concerned with guest check ins/outs & rarely anything more. 4)Overall cleanliness was superb. Not a single thing was dingy, out of place, or unattractive. 5)Exceptional view from 8th floor window. 6)Modern travertine rainfall shower; so soothing I found it difficult to exit, but did just that when I remembered the money won’t burn itself. 7)Surprisingly very quiet at night, especially for a casino resort and paired with the super comfortable bed, I slept like a Tom Brady. 8)Was able to extend my stay for an additional day with zero hassle. Quick & easy; one of the reasons I reminded myself to complete this review. The complaints I do have are few, but feel the input could be helpful to the property management, should they want to improve on any key elements for future favorable guest experiences: 1)While the rainfall shower was very relaxing, my tub-time is, to exaggerate a bit, next to oxygen, so I was very disappointed to find there was absolutely no option for a bathtub and only shower accessible. Booooo Hisssssssss...I need a tub for complete relaxation. 2)When it was time for me to check out, I was running late for work and called down to the bellman for help with my bags, tip ready in hand. 5,10,15,20 mins pass by and I had to go down myself and speak to a new bellman (perhaps shift change had just occurred I am not entirely sure of the reason why I got ghosted) and he went straight up, retrieved my bags and seemed very happy to put them in my car not allowing me to lift a finger which felt nice. 3)The staff in the gaming area doesn’t seem to mind nor do anything about the transients, or people who are clearly not playing but bugging patrons who are playing their hard earned money. Those are my only real complains. I would definitely say the good outweighs the bad and I will definitely be back. I wasn’t once bothered by housekeeping and the walls were thick, you will sleep so nicely not hearing other conversations going on in the next room or hallway, even outside noises won’t phase you. And the room you can make super dark to your liking. Incredible stay, But the tub would’ve sent this girl over the top!!! Love this place and I will return—-much faster if there are tub options! Thanks Harrahs hotel and gaming staff! You guys rock!
