I have stayed at many Cearsars hotel properties.I have stayed at Harrah's Ak Chin literally over a 100 times. I have not always been happy with the hotel, but this was the absolute worst time I have ever had with my stay there. I stayed there December 8-9-10th,2019. I took my girlfriend there to celebrate her birthday as I have done for at least 7 of the last 8 years. We were in the Resort room, because we like those rooms the best. Well in room #135, which is a non pet stay room, was a big dog. We were in the room next to that one. The first night we heard the dog barking. We called the front desk to tell them. Nothing was done about it. I figured that maybe the hotel would move them to a pet room in the morning. Well we were both shocked by being woke up extremely early to the dog barking very loud again. We called the front desk again and talked with Ana. They sent security to the room and they knocked on the door. Nobody answered, so security left. It was a couple that was staying in that room. We saw them outside on the patio as we were bringing in our luggage on the 8th. Well the dog was barking when security knocked on the door. The dog was barking on and off throughout the day. Finally after at least 14 hours,the 2 people came back to the room around 2:15 am. I know this because the dog was barking very loud again. I looked out and didn't see the white pickup truck they were driving. But they let the big dog out to take a crap. They were noisy as usual, so we called the front desk again. We never heard security show up that night. The next morning the dog was barking again and so once again we called the office. They said we could move our stuff to another room if we wanted. They offered us rooms that we do not particularly like. It was the same rooms I turned down upon our check in. I have stayed at this resort so much, that when they told me the room number I knew exactly which building the rooms were located. The girlfriend told the girl at the hotel's front desk that they should move the people out to a dog room. Why should we be forced to move to another room, when the people with the dog in room #135 should be moved out at minimum. Those people stayed in that room our whole visit. Needless to say, it wasn't a very nice birthday stay for my girlfriend and I. Horrible customer service by Harrah's Ak Chin. This was totally the worst stay I have had there. Also, the worst customer service I have ever received at an hotel. They deserve a 1 star at best. I'm still waiting for hotel management to make this right, to my girlfriend and I. So stay at this horribly managed hotel at your own peril. I will update this review if Ak Chins management cares enough to right this wrong!!
