Check in was a nightmare this time. I usually have no problems and check in people are always so nice and caring. Not this time. There were three ladies working and the one on the end (wish I could remember her name) next to the wall was done right rude. I had put in a special request for a first floor handicap room and when I mentioned it she got all in a tizzy and told me no handicap rooms were ready. I asked when they might be ready she told me she didn't know and walked off. She went to another lady and said something and came back and said an hour. Mind you I am in a wheelchair with some special needs and had been traveling 3 hours to get there. I really hope they were just having a bad day.

We went to Harrah's in Murphy, NC last week and were extremely pleased with the hotel and casino's COVID-19 requirements. The capacity had been reduced to 30%, 1000 people, and there was plenty of room to keep social distance, including in the casino. People were following the rules and we felt very safe. Only 4 people allowed in elevators and usually it was just the 2 of us. Staff were spraying the machines in the casino every 4 hours. Temps were taken as we entered the property and arm bracelets showing such had to be worn at all times. They expired every other day and temps had to be taken again. Restaurants weren't open but everything in the Food Court was. Very few people were eating so we had more than enough room. Hand sanitizer was readily available in the Food Court and on the casino floor. No valet parking due to C-19. All staff we encountered were very happy to be working again and that we had come.My only complaint is that I left with less money than I arrived with!!

I have used the 2 hour drive to gamble as a stress reliever during this Corona virus epidemic. However, today I had the worst experience I've had in 25 years of going to casinos. I put the experience as poor and not terrible because there are many employees that come in and make sure you are having fun even if you are losing money. The dealers like Birger, Olga, Jessica, and Andy are great. Even Ms. Amber one of the pit bosses is outstanding. Today, however, there was one pit boss that was rude and very disrespectful. I feel if you can't speak with people respectfully and professionally then you should get out of the service industry. I won't be disrespectful and name the pit boss, so hopefully, Eric, the tables supervisor will do his job and have a converstion with her. I will be following up with a survey and a letter.

With all the safety precautions everything was very clean and felt safe. The rooms are very clean. Not fond of no coffee or microwave available but understand the reasoning. The hotel rooms are very close to food court and plenty of coffee. The casino also very clean and enough slot machines open to have plenty of choices. Looking forward to the full capacity of machines but also understand the social distancing. What a great place to be.
