Wow. Went there for my birthday. They gave me 50 dollars of free play time to join their rewards program. Maybe I’m used to Vegas but I’m used to machines working and attendants coming quickly when they don’t. Casino seems understaffed. Plus after I played on a machine that was having issues, the tech told me to pull my card out and the 50 dollar free play would stay on my card, it did not. The next machine had a 0 balance. We pressed 2 for attendant and no one ever came. Went to the front and after waiting a long time were told it would be resolved and back on my card to play with the next day. The next day they said there was no issue with the machine, in so many words accused me of lying or being mistaken and refused to fix it. I don’t. Need to steal 50 bucks from a casino and I’m not mistaken. I just really wanted to see how the 50 bucks played out. Technically they at a minimum owe me 1.50 in cash and 50 bucks in play credit because I had gotten the balance to 51.50 before I left. The rep that helped that night said she could see the problem because you can’t lose 50$ in 6 sec of play. So why do they have amnesia on the next day. Also we wanted to spend money to eat at Ruth’s Chris but their was a 2 hour wait We tried to eat at brios, they had a 90 minute wait but oddly the tables were have full. It appears to be issues with staffing to run the restaurants. We tried the food court but it had long lines of wait. Same issue, not good staffing. If you are handicapped in anyway and can not stand in long lines there is really any way to navigate these problems. I really expected a lot better than to get crappy serviice and accused of lying on my birthday. Also their entire room rate is ridiculous. The weekend I was there, rooms inside the hotel were going for about 495. The holiday inn express across the street was approximately 300. I’ve stayed in the ARIA in Vegas, Mandalay Bay and other 5 stars that were only about 290 a night and had rooms a casinos that were excellent with excellent customer service. Hurrahs Cherokee just seems to not care about customer Service. I think I’ll try Alabama or Mississippi or New Orleans next time I want to do a fun girls trip. This place was disappointing.

This resort is in dire need of active management.Virtually no human beings work at the complex, the level of automation rivals airport check-in. The only human interaction during a 5 hour visit was a cursory ID check by a disinterested likely underpaid, poorly trained security guard. Stains were visible on the carpet, no cleaning crews of any kind were evidence on a crowded Saturday night. We were there to see the Marshall Tucker Band concert, while the event hall was attractive there were no ushers, greeters or security at all in the large room. Aisle and safety lighting were absent and an entire row of cheap, portable seating lurched backward in front of us.Considering the volume of guests at Harrahs the paucity of security is problematic both inside the hotel/casino and in the immense parking area. The few employees encountered seemed to be totally disinterested in their tasks or the welfare of guests. In my opinion this place will remain on a profitable autopilot until a life threatening disaster occurs.

We stayed Dec 1-3, 2021 for our anniversary. We had a king sized room. The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom was nice as well as the shower. The only drawback was that there is no microwave in the room. We ordered food from the restaurants in the casino and it would have been nice to have been able to warm it up and eat leftovers. The vending area has a snack machine and my husband got some chocolate donuts from there that were out of date and tasted awful. The casino was not as big as Harrahs in Cherokee but we play slots so it had what we wanted to play. They do have tables also with several games. This is a non-smoking casino. We also went to the bowling alley where there is an arcade and pool tables. Despite the drawbacks mentioned above, we had a great time and look forward to going back.
Casino staff leave a lot to be desired!

What has happened is unacceptable. Sorry for the long story. We visited on November 3, 2021. We had gambled a little while and needed more cash. Went to the casino cashier and asked for $1000. The gentleman working the cashier cage waited on us. He told us the fee would be $66. I had remembered being a diamond member that I would not pay that fee. He said if I had a check with my name on it that he could process it using my name. Well, I thought I had a bank check in our room and told him that we would go check and come back. He gave us a voided receipt and we left. Turns out I didn't have a check in the room so we just got money via ATM out of savings. Got home and saw that the echeck had cleared our bank for $1166. What is going on? We called Global payments which is the company that processes those echecks and they informed us that we did get the money. We said we did not and they told us to dispute it with our bank. We did that and got our money back through the bank. Well, Global payments started harassing us to get the money from us. We explained the situation and were told that the casino had a video of us getting the money. They suggested we go to the casino and ask about the video. We did that and the manager of security said he watched the video and saw HER count out 11 one hundred Dollar bills. Remember we only ask for $1000. We asked to see the video because it was not a woman that waited on us. He said the only way to see the video was with a subpoena. We talked with a VIP casino host and she suggested we talk with the cage manager. We proceeded to the cashier cage and asked for the manager. We spoke to Jim. He told us that the number on our voided receipt belonged to a woman. We told him that a man waited on us and he looked up the schedule for Nov. 3, 2021 and said there were no men on duty but then he said well I see there was a man there. He also informed us that the lady's till was not over for the day. Jim also informed us that there is no video because they don't keep them that long. Jim informed us to just dispute it with our bank which we had already have done. We came home and continued to get harassing phone calls from Global payments asking us if we had gone to the casino to see the video. We told them we did but there was no video. They proceeded to tell us that security says there is and that we were told by security that we were seen getting the money. We just got a threatening letter from Global payments saying that if we don't pay they are turning it over to a collection agency or an attorney. We are paying it because it would cost more to fight it. Oh, and by the way they say we owe $1259 now.
