My wife and I stayed at the resort for two nights for our 10th anniversary. We stayed in a recently remodeled room in the Mountain tower. The room was clean, minus a few crumbs on the carpet, and quite big. The entire casino, shops, etc. were very clean compared to other casinos we’ve been to. The outdoor pool and bar were great to relax at, and all of the restaurants exceeded our expectations, based on reading previous reviews. I definitely recommend trying the new Gordon Ramsey market for quick service meals. Most of the staff we encountered were very friendly as well and made our first trip here a lot of fun. We will definitely be returning soon.

The best part of this casino is now no smoking anywhere inside the casino. The big negative with the casino is the following. Their minimum bets for the tables are too high. On Saturday night there was only 1 15-dollar table, and the rest were 25-dollar tables. This is too high for the average person who comes up to this casino to gamble. I refuse to play at a 25 dollar table.I went back Sunday morning around 8 o'clock and there was 2 craps tables being played and both were 25 dollar tables. The casino was clean and the employees were great but the minimum bets at the craps tables were too high. Will be interesting what the minimum bets will be at the new casino in Kings Mountain when it opens

Super disappointed in this stay, from check-in to check-out. At no time while they are mentioning how pet friendly they're do they let you know that you will be put in a smoking room and it will be $75 a night for your pet. Everything I own including my dog now smells like smoke, the sheets and bedding smell like smoke, the hallway wreaked of smoke 🚬. I love to play craps, and spent a significant amount of time at the tables playing. We found it next to impossible to buy a beer, as it seemed that only one server was on at any given time, and I'm not sure how much area she had to cocktail, but if you saw her once every couple of hours you were doing good. It became a standing joke that is was like gambling in a church! I might be able to understand if the drinks were free but $5 beers plus tip you would think they would staff it. If you are staying during the week you better like coffee, pizza (was good) or Gordon Ramsey $20 burgers 🍔 (not good) because these are pretty much your only offering during the day and later in the evening. When checking in there were 2 employees working and it took forever to get checked in. There isn't a luggage cart to bring your luggage to your room you must use their service or huff it to your room yourself. At the end of the day I was just extremely disappointed with this stay from start to finish and will look for different options for gathering family and friends to enjoy a casino and have a good time.
